Two nights in Cusco

Posted Jun 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Aranwa is a beautiful hotel adorned with authentic antiques from the era of the hotels original heritage. The staff did everything in their power to take care of us. The only thing that would make me not stay their again is a very early check out. We could only get a LATE check out of 10:30, so if you need to sleep in, consider that.

A welcome retreat

I can't say enough good things about this facility. Luxuriously appointed, on a quiet street and superbly attentive staff. The rooms are beautiful though a little small. Every element of the operation is geared to facilitating the tourist; even breakfast is served at five A.M to accommodate those off early for Macchu Piccu. As well appointed a retreat as any I've ever found.

Distinctive, discreet, convenient

Elegant colonial palace two blocks from main square, a welcome oasis after our 7-day trek. Hiccup with our reservation resolved without too much delay. Room had all the amenities, piped in oxygen, heated bath floor. Delicious breakfast buffet with charming wait staff.

A delightful retreat in Cusco

Posted Jun 14, 2013
Pros: The staff was the most friendly and helpful of any hotel we have ever stayed in from Europe, Asia to the US.
Cons: Can't think of any negatives
Location: Quiet location just a short walk to the main plaza areas
We stayed at the Aranwa for 6 nights. This sensitively restored boutique hotel was beautiful in every way. The room was elegantly comfortable and quiet and everyone on the staff was welcoming and extremely helpful from the front desk to our waiter Adolpho at breakfast. The breakfast was very plentiful with a great variety. Does it sound like we liked it? We loved it and would return in a heartbeat.

Great place to stay in Cusco

We really enjoyed our two night stay at the Aranwa Hotel. It is a charming property in a quiet area very close to the main square. The staff was wonderful and did everything possible to make our stay special. The oxygen pumped into our room was very beneficial as our family had a little difficulty adjusting to the altitude. We highly recommend this hotel.

High quality rooms with oxygen piped in. Free breakfast, free internet. Nice little courtyard and one block from Plaza de Armas. We would stay here again.

Pros: The fireplace was a nice touch to the end of a long day out.
Location: Perfect location. Short stroll to main square.
I found the staff to be extremely welcoming. The art work and architecture was absolutely beautiful. Gives a great feel to the city. All staff were very helpful and happy.
