The best hotel next to Machu PicchuPosted Jan 21, 2015
This hotel is amazing! You should reserve this hotel if you wanna enjoy Machu Picchu 100%!! The location is more than the best. It's just next to the entrance of Machu Picchu. So if you get tired or it starts raining, you can go back to the hotel anytime. The staffs are very friendly and hospitable. I miss all of them. They help you so well, if you need something. The food is very good. All meals are different. You can taste delicious Peruvian food.

RIGHT THERE!! That's the point.Posted Dec 25, 2014
Pros: 4-star experience, through and through, but mostly the 40-meters to the entrance to Machu Picchu!
Cons: Really, nothing significant.
Location: A few steps from Machu Picchu site -- what more can one say?
This is an excellent hotel and they understand what they offer and what people are paying. At the same time, the real thing is that they are the only hotel "on site", with all the benefits of easy and early access to Machu Picchu -- no Aguas Callientes madness, no busses to compete for, etc.. If you base your decision on access to MP, then all the rest of the considerable charm and luxury is gravy. They do a good job - everything is first rate - and even at twice as much as my previous personal highest price paid for a room anywhere, I am very very pleased with the decision to stay here. The staff, baggage handling, navigation of the schedules for busses, trains, tickets to Machu Picchu -- all these things were handled expertly and eagerly by the staff. We were treated as one would hope for a 4-star hotel. Highly recommended.

Valuable stay!Posted Dec 5, 2014
Worth to stay if you come all the way to enjoy Machu Picchu. My mum and I entered twice, 1st day enjoy Machu Picchu in the afternoon till closure, most of the tourists were already gone so you can take great pictures without people around, no need to worry about bus to go back to the village. Next day we got to the Machu Picchu entrance at 5:30 and nobody was there, advantage of staying at this hotel! Staffs were so caring and remember each guests name, food & wine, activity and of course room facility, thanks to this stay our stay becomes more than our expectation! Muchisimas gracias desde Japon!

Ideale Ausgangslage für ExkursionenPosted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Essen in Sternequalität

Great access to National ParkPosted Sep 25, 2014
Location: As above
National park on the doorstep is the great advantage so we had better access to Machu Picchu than bus trippers who leave at about 3pm. Fod and service was fine. The quality of the building and rooms is not as high as we have experienced in other Belmonds eg Iguasso Falls but generally it was very good as we would expect for the cost. Accomodation for my daughter as an additional guest was easily accomodated in a President suite.

20 Feet from the Gate to Machu PicchuPosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: WE loved everything
The hotel is expensive but the location and the customer focused Lodge Staff makes this a must stay if you go to Machu Picchu , the location and service deserves the price. We loved everything. Staff was exceptional, very accommodating and helpful. With The proximity to Machu Picchu 20 Feet from the Gate, You can go the park in the morning, come to have lunch at the hotel and visit the park again at sunset, without any hurry. It's a harrowing bus ride up the Cliffside to reach the Park. It's worth it to stay up top, and not have to go back down to the village below The location can't be beat; no one else has a hotel anywhere near Machu Picchu. Staff is exceptional; very accommodating and helpful. The food was very ,very good. The Lodge provide free entry tickets to the Park and will also assist you with any needs or questions you might have
