Nice room and bathroom overall for the price. Tv remote didn’t work consistently. No hot water in shower on first night. Staff didn’t speak english so not able to assist with excursion bookings as i had thought. Clean and comfortable bedding, so that helped.

For the budget traveler , this is it ... :) Location is far from the main park , but a cab is only $2 ... And you have a the market 3 blocks away, Cheap eats !

Located on a street selling vehicle related products, nothing to eat. Furniture was covered with dust. Wifi was unable to connect in room due to weak signal. No hot water on the night, I didn’t voice out as nobody at reception. They don’t even have a electrical kettle, you have to watch it when you cook your water on a gas stove.

A very bad experience!
We had a horrible stay at this hotel. At our arrival the room didn't look at all as the pictures and it had a shared bathroom instead of the private bathroom that we paid. After we complained, they moved us to a room with a private bathroom but it didn't have hot water! So we still had to share the bathroom to have a hot shower. No wifi inside the room, we had to go to the lobby to get acces. The second night the whole hotel lost electricity for 24h!! No water on the shower (because electricity) and we had to clean ourselves with wet towels. We went to sleep literally on the dark and we couldn't charge our phones. The next morning we couldn't even have breakfast because of no electricity. The third night (back from our tour of Machu Picchu) they gave us a third room, again with no hot water in the shower and no wifi in the room. I can understand we had bad luck, but I also want to denounce that the pictures they show are a misrepresentation and the reality is not at all like the pictures. On top of that, the location is more than 20 minutes walking from the central plaza (not the 5 minutes they say). I feel very disappointed with this hotel, cause you can get much better for much less.

For 25 usd, better things were expected. Only good aspect is-it is clean. Otherwise: No staff member speaks english, there is a wash basin outside outside the toilet (nothing inside the bathroom), now separate shower area and so the water floods the toilet seat and everything else. For the 2 days i stayed, there was zero internet. Breakfast was 2 peices of stale bread and tea/coffee. I would book something better at that price.

This is a pretty old building that's showing it's age. I stayed for a week. The shower was hot for 3 days, luke warm for 2 and cold for 2 of the days. There's no heating, so you must bundle up. The bed is bowled shape, so I had really bad back pains when I got up. Wifi is barely traceable and after 9pm don't bother....no internet. The locaton is ok. It's about a 10 min walk up to the main plaza. It's also about a 15 min walk down to the bus terminal if you are trying to connect with the bus to another city. It's a shame that the hotel let me down, because the staff were friendly and courteous. Hate to write a negative review, but I felt people should know the honest opinion of a fellow traveler. Would I recommend this place.....probably not.

Staff are incredibly friendly they are very helpful even though there’s a language barrier. The hotel and amenities were very clean the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. And the staff did nice things like make tea and coffee in the morning and do wake up calls as requested
