“VERY GOOD”
NICE AND CLEAN LITTLE HOTEL. LOOKS NEW. STAFF VERY HELPFUL AND GENTLE. ROOMS MODERN AND WITH HEATERS. FIVE BLOOKS FROM MAIN SQUARE, BUT, MUST GO 50 METERS OF UP HILL, WHEN IT IS ALREADY 3400 METERS HIGH. IF YOU ARE NOT IN GOOD SHAPE MUST GO UP TO THE HOTEL SLOWLY, OR, YOU CAN TAKE A TAXI FOR LESS THEN TWO DOLLARS. WARNING: IF YOU HAVE PLANS TO GO TO MACHU PICCHU. BUY ENTRACE TICKETS BEFORE COMING TO CUSCO. ONLY 2500 PEOPLE ARE ALOUD PER DAY. MEANING HUNDRES CAN NOT GO IN. TRIP FROM CUSCO TO MACHU PICCHU COST YOU NO LESS THEN TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS PER PERSON (TRAIN + BUS TO GO UP HILL + TICKET) SAFEST WAY IS WITH TOUR COMPANIES, THEY WILL HEVE THE TICKETS.
“Quaint, friendly with a wonderful location”
This hotel was much more than expected for the price. It is quaint with a wonderful flower decorated patio and beautiful garden leading up the stairs to the entrance. The 4th floor veranda provided a fantastic view of the city. Be sure to see it during the day and at night. It is breathtaking! The staff greeted us in the flower decorated lobby with cocoa tea which helped our reaction to the altitude. The staff were very helpful in regards to directing us how to make arrangements for the bus and train to go to Machu Picchu. Someone met us at the airport and drove us to the hotel. This taxi was arranged by the hotel at our request. The hotel is situated in the colonial area of the city which is very quaint with very narrow streets. it is walking distance to the main square and very quiet. The breakfast was very good and the rooms very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel. I cannot think of anything negative. I loved it!!!
“Very nice hotel high up on the hill.”
Vice nice, comfortable, clean hotel that was way up in the hills in San Blas. Most taxis will not drive up to the front door since the street is too narrow. Very happy with the hotel until the last day when there were water issues and we had no water. The hotel did not offer anything to compensate for the lack of water.

Cusco, Peru: The Old and the New World intersect in Cusco: This fair city was remade in the image of Spain after conquistadors crushed the Inca in the 1500s. This colonial heritage is most evident at the Plaza de Armas, home to three baroque churches. To see the vestiges of the Incas, pass through the bohemian enclave of San Blas in the hills above central Cusco, and head north to the Sacsayhuaman fortress.
