“Unbeatable quality in this price range!!”
Cannot recommend this hotel enough, for those of us travelling on a shoe string and looking for a little comfort it is perfect! Same price as a hostel! Rooms were modern and immaculate, the breakfast was a bonus and the staff were just great. A short walk into Cusco (ten minutes or so). My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights and it was perfect!
“Unbelievable value!”
We had a fabulous stay at Inkas inn- the manager is extremely friendly and nice and goes out of her way to ensure all her guest's needs are met. As soon as we arrived she served us hot coca tea- and made us feel very welcome! She only speaks spanish but is proficient in the use of google translator to communicate with those of us who speak only English. She sent someone to pick us up from the airport - which helped tremendously! She made sure the breakfast was ready on time for us every day. We were also able to get our laundry done while there. We felt no apprehension in leaving our bags behind when we went on our trek to Machu Pichhu. This is not a luxury hotel- but there are no issues with cleanliness or safety here. The hotel is a short taxi ride away from downtown- so remember that when making plans for the evening.
“Cuzco the Best”
A really good experience in Cuzco and my hotel was excellent, Ms Valentina and husband they was very care about you and very sweet. Really good choice.
“Friendly, economical, clean and satisfying”
The price was right, staff incredibly willing to help and clean rooms. Some thing to keep in mind, if you speak Spanish your interactions with the staff will be much easier. The email exchanges we had weren't too conclusive because of translation. At check-in I agreed to an "habitacion doble" (room with two single beds) instead of an "habitacion matriomoniale" (room with a double bed). This was corrected on the second evening. We felt safe at this hotel. The front door was locked all the time since there wasn't always someone at the front desk but someone was there within seconds when we rang the bell. You can trust the staff to be honest. We left a tip on the breakfast table once and the server brought it to our room thinking we forgot it. We also left our extra stuff in their care for the time we were on the Inka Trail. Everything was in our room at our return. The breakfast was nothing fancy, but was great for free. Consider ear plugs because there's a rooster across the street to wake you up at 3AM. Be prepared to walk uphill on Ave El Sol to the Plaza Del Armas. The streets in Cuzco aren't labelled very well and most local maps don't show the area where this hotel is located. Also the hotel somewhat new so it would be helpful to have a printed map with the address to show taxi drivers where you're going. Taxis are cheap (5 soles or less for most places) but you have to negotiate the price before getting in. Be ready to pay cash because they can't process credit cards.
“Good Hotel at Great Price”
A bit away from the tourist area. Great price, new place in good condition. Very good price.
“A little gem in Cusco”
The Inkas Inn is a surpising little outpost in the quiet suburbs of Cusco that is a sweet little gem and a bargain. Just a short, cheap taxi ride from the center, the airport, and the rail/bus stations if you are headed to Maccu Piccu from here. The Inn is in surprising good condition. Breakfast is some barebones bread and coffee, but sufficient to get a start. The staff was very nice and helpful with any questions (although I don't know if they are English-speaking; I happen to speak fluent Spanish, so the issue didn't come up). If you don't feel the need to stay in the center and near the action, the Inkas is a perfect place to stay. A complimentary pot of mate tea upon arrival was another nice touch. Oh, the wi-fi works well.
“Very friendly service”
This is a nice and cheap hotel. The location is a bit out of the centre, but still it is possible to walk to Plaza de Armas in 15 minutes. I really liked the familiar feeling about the place and the people working there will go out of their way to please you. The rooms are a bit cold in winter time, but a good thing is that they have hot water 24 hours a day. The rooms are basic but all have cable tv, a small desk and chair. All in all a very nice experience staying at this hotel and I would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers that are looking for a cheap no frills hotel.
“Good for the price...”
Workers were very helpful. However, We were at the airport for around 45 minutes waiting for the taxi that was suppopsed to pick us up. After this time, we called the hotel and mentioned that we would go on our own. Hotel is located in a nice quiet area, a bit far from main downtown. It did serve the purpose for one night and although they offered Conbtinental breakfast, we could not have it because we left early to go to Machu Picchu.
“bit away from the main part of the city, but nice and inexpensive”
The location of this hotel is about 15 minute walk away from the main part of the city, but it is an inexpensive simple nice hotel. Nobody in this hotel can speak any English, though.
“cheap price”
would recommend this hotel for the cheap price
