This hotel took my breath away.
I've traveled quite a bit in my life and stayed at a lot of 5-star hotels but this one stands out from the crowd. The entrance is GORGEOUS and eye-opening. The reception desk has the most incredible backdrop (pictured). The ambiance, the smell, the customer service... all of it hits you at once and you immediately feel like you're at home.
My father and I stayed here for 3 days / 2 nights because I had read endless amazing reviews of this place. It did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, it exceeded expectations if that's even possible.
The entire staff had a permanent smile and at every corner someone greeted us by our last name. That's how much they made it personal for us.
The restaurant staff really stood out, especially Ruth who is a VERY sweet and thoughtful host / waitress. She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared to know how our stay was going and how our unforgettable trip to Machu Picchu was. She's the highlight of the staff in my opinion.
The last morning we were there, in the courtyard, the hotel brought a local woman with her alpaca to give the vibe an even more authentic experience. (pictured)
I can't say enough great things about this place and I highly recommend you stay here when you visit Cuzco. It was a 5-minute walk to the Plaza de Armas and there are plenty of places to eat and shop within seconds of the hotel entrance.
