“Great hotel”

Great staff. Very helpful! they were on top of everything all the time. My birthday was one week before my stay and they still sent me a birthday cake to my room. The breakfast was outstanding.. and we ate dinner once at the restaurant and was very good too! They cleaned the room twice a day.. once in the morning and once at the early evening. I definitely will go back! the only thing is that you have to pay for wifi at your room.. but it is free at the lobby.

“Great new hotel but service needs improvement”

Recenty opened Marriott hotel cusco is a centrally located wonderfully reconstructed historical building with a lot of charm, all the required modern facilities including a small spa and oxygen supply to any room (at extra cost but strongly recommended) Its drawback is failure of the staff to provide services corresponding to Marriott brand, to high rates they charge and to beautiful internal design of the building: - food leftovers and dirty plates could stay overnight from dinner time to 8-9 a.m. if left by guests outside of the rooms on the floor in corridors; - after three requests to clean my room they have not bothered to clean its floor which had a lot of dust and even sand looking like it was left by construction workers; - printing out a document received by e-mail happened to become a problem in a 5-star hotel which has just one comp available for guests which was permanently occupied. Well, the staff was really trying to help and was very polite, but I believe it's just management and training failure which can be hopefully resolved soon And be carefull: two floors of the hotel with standard rooms (de luxe room) are located actually underground (levels minus 1 and minus 2 below lobby) They have very little or almost no sunshine with a wall 0.5-1.5 meters from a window.
