A Really Beautiful HotelPosted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: The decor and the fact that it is so central in Cuzco.
Cons: Room was a little smaller than i would have liked and a bit dark even with all of the lights on but a very minor issue.
Location: Very central to everything in Cuzco and at the same time convenient for the airport.
Would absolutely recommend this hotel. Very central, beautiful facilities, great breakfast, loved the bar and very friendly and helpful staff. My only (very minor) negative was that our room was a touch small and very dark. Other than that, can't fault this hotel.

My Favorite Hotel Ever?Posted Aug 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
We loved, loved, loved this hotel. The structure is incredible - the public spaces felt like we were in a roomy modern Inca building. Large stone work, an indoor courtyard-esque area inside the front door and in front of the check in desk, another courtyard down by the restaurant, a comfy bar with a wall of Inca-esque stones, large doors, this has it all. Our room was very nice, too, with a separate sitting area with a day bed that my son slept on. It also had 1.5 baths. The staff was incredibly helpful and procured tickets for us for Machu Picchu even though it was sold out the day we wanted to visit. They also kept our luggage for 2 days while we traveled to Machu Picchu. The only glitch was the desk clerk kept harrasing me aboutI would stay in this hotel every time I visited Cuzco and I would stay in its sister hotels, if any, any time I get the chance. For $200/night (I think), this is my favorite hotel ever.

Great Location and walking distance to La PlazaPosted Jul 22, 2013
Pros: The location was great. The room was perfect and spacious. The entire service.
Cons: I decided to upgrade the room for a suite but they added service charges. They could have explained better that's all.
Location: The hotel is located next to qoricancha ruins. Really nice site and two blocks from the Plaza Mayor. Walking distance to la Catedral and restaurants.
This is one of the best locations in town. I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. It was a combination of great service and comfortable rooms. This is a well balance hotel. From the moment you enter, you feel at ease and welcome. They know you are there to have fun so they make the check in a breeze. Rooms are so comfortable and spacious. The suite has a magnificent view of Cuzco and it is worth the money. The breakfast buffet is excelent and great selections. Fresh everything and it is available very early for people traveling to Machu Picchu. I really had a wonderful experience staying at Libertador Palacio del Inka.

Wonderful service, beautiful hotelPosted Jul 20, 2013
Pros: The service was amazing!
Cons: Softer TP
Everything was amazing. The service was amazing and the Pisco Sours were even better. My only complaint was that the toilet paper was a little rough...after a long hike, soft TP would be a nice pleasure.

Nice hotel and surrounding.Posted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: The historic and artistic ambiance of the hotel, the paintings.
Cons: Bathroom shower area.
Location: 10-15 minutes walking distance to Cusco Handcrafts Center, bargaining souvenirs. The church in Plaza area is very nice.
Nice hotel and convenient location. Foods in restaurant are good. The only thing I want to point out is the set up of shower room - water were spread over the bath room floor so easily. We had to use towels as stepping to the toilet.

Excellent hotel. Perfect locationPosted Jul 14, 2013
Pros: I loved the building and decoration. It has kept the antique spirit in a very comfortable environment.
The Libertador is a true five star hotel located near all of Cusco's main historic places. Service is excellent. The price is correct for what you get.
