Hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für Macchu Picchu

Posted Dec 1, 2014

Hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Never left us wanting more. Always made sure we were completely satisfied. If I ever make it back to Peru, I will stay here again.

Top notch luxury

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: read above.
Cons: Free WiFi in the room as opposed to paying $10 per day. It's free in the beautiful lobby, but a 5 star hotel should make it available in the room.
Location: see above.
Fabulous spa, pool, beautiful grounds and views, very quiet and relaxing. Small kink when our room wasn't cleaned after being away the whole day. Isaac Pilares Obregon, Guest relations manager bent over backwards to make up for it. Offered us a Suite, Hydrotherapy in the unbelievable spa and dinner. Took him up on the Spa and breakfast instead of dinner. Would definitely go back. Urubamaba is a small town with nothing to do. 3 good restaurants and a fabulous ceramics studio, Ceramicas Seminario. You'll get a short tour and be sure to buy beautiful one-of-a-kind ceramics. They pack it beautifully for transport or will ship. Don't miss lunch at the Sol Y Luna Lodge and Spa, 10 minutes away by cheap taxi. Food was unreal from bread to dessert and you'll sit outside surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Peru Experience

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: This resort did everything to perfection. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, fun and professional. The food was Five star quality.
Cons: None
Location: The hotel location and tour options fulfilled everything we were interested in experiencing. Be sure to try the via ferrata and zip line.
Our trip to Peru exceeded our expectations. The experience was outstanding and difficult to put into words. The best way to understand our experience is to experience it yourself.. The hotel is true to its name; A resting place for the Inka's. Be sure to ask for tour guide Henry Melgarejo. We visited Machu Picchu, Pisac, Ollantaytambo, city tour of Cusco 3 ruins and Via ferrata Zip line - our guide Guillermo and Eddie were great. Lots of laughing and fun.

Nice hotel with very good service

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: The atmosphere and the confort are very nice and all the staff was very friendly and professional
Cons: The temperature of the swimming pool is not properly designed so there are zones colder tan others through the pool
Location: There is not so much to do near by as is a small town, if you want to do something you have to take a taxi or a tour to take you to interesting places
Very nice experience in a very relaxing hotel. The service of the spa was very good.

Best hotel/resort of all time.

This hotel is actually the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. I wish I had more than 2 nights here. Service, food, location, property, spa and pool are all top notch. Make sure to get breakfast buffet. And definitely make sure to book a spa treatment. You will not regret it!

The best in Peru

Posted Sep 1, 2014
The best luxory choice to stay and visit all archeological and cultural places Cusco has to offer. Forget staying in Cusco city. Urubamba's Sacred Valley has no match in terms of beautiful natural landscape, best weather, quietness, strategical location and with Tambo del Inka Hotel there, no better choice for all the luxory and comfort you would need in order to enhace your visit. You don´t have to become a backpacker to visit Cusco, you will get a much richer experience staying a Tambo del Inka.
