The Indian family managing this property are obviously new to all this. As we checked in at the desk, the rest of the family sat in the lobby looking on, the daughter translating every word for her mother and grandparents. When I discovered there was no soap in the room, the manager told me they were out - no hand soap in the whole place. Just use shampoo, he told me. Then when I needed a plunger for the toilet, he looked earnestly in three different locations before making a phone call where he discovered the lone plunger had been lent out to another room who's occupants where now asleep. No plunger for me. The room was tolerable but not great. However, there were signs around the property indicating they were remodeling. Maybe it will be better in a few months, but I doubt I will stay again.
