Best part of our stay in Vietnam!Posted Oct 3, 2013
We stayed with 2 small children and loved it! The Kids Club has loads of things for kids and the many pools are laid out across treed and flowered landscaping for shady swimming on hot sunny days. The beach is clean albeit the ocean can be rough depending on the time of year. The rooms are lovey and the food is wonderful; free shuttles to Hoi An, and a great Spa rounded out our trip. However, what makes this resort stand out is the staff. From the front desk to the beach, everyone was helpful and and dedicated to great service .... A rarity these days.

First and certainly not the last time in DanangPosted Aug 25, 2013
Pros: The hotel is fairly new and thus the beach is clean, facilities are new and very high tech. The whole resort is tranquil and relaxing.
Cons: The only dissatisfaction is the return transport to the airport that we booked.
Location: tours to mountains, temples, hoi an UNESCO heritage sites.
We were contemplating between Fusion Maia and Vinpearl but chose the latter as though Fusion has an all inclusive spa service, we thought it might be subject to availability at the end of the day. While we may consider Fusion for our next visit, we are likely to patronise Vinpearl again, as long as we don't book their transport again next time round! For our return transport, we have booked a Mercedes which cost around 1 million dong but got a shuttle bus instead which would have cost much less and no one told us anything beforehand and couldn't give us an explanation. We have since written to complain and waiting to hear back from them.

Cons: food not as good as restaurants in Hoi An

We are experienced travellers and this hotel would have to rate as one of the best we have stayed in. The service is impeccable and the beach setting superb.

Amazingly Beautiful butPosted May 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel / resort is nothing short of spectacular. It sits right on the ocean with a large private white sand beach. The entire building is comprised of marble, rich woods, brass and glass. Facilities were wonderful. We had an ocean view (overlooking the 5 pools) which was breathtaking. Our room was beautiful and clean. The room had an “ipad like” console that controlled all lights and curtains, interesting. Every staff member (no matter who or where) was always friendly, greeting you warmly and offering to help in any way. Our one niggle is the expenses you incur at the resort. To get to the resort by cab costs less than 1/5 the price of the services offered by the resort (even the least costly) and due to location (far from the city) you are almost required to eat dinner at the resort, which is quite dramatically overpriced. The food cost is balanced in part by the abundant complimentary breakfast buffet.

Can be improvedPosted Jan 22, 2013
Pros: Room comfort, quality of accommodation and friendly, helpful staff
Cons: Lack of food choice. Distance from everything on and off property.
Location: Isolated from restaurants and shops and need to rely on shuttle to take you into Hoi An which was appreciated.
We found the food selection limited, especially because we were there for 10 nights and still went into Hoi An for dinner every night. Walking paths around the pool and to access other arrears of the property including the beach Could be improved. Corridor tiles slippery when wet making it dangerous just going from room to lobby.
