For being a 5 star hotel we did not recieve the treatment. Upon checkin the staff notified us that the AC had not been turned on a recommended we ope. The windows immediately. They also let us know no amenities were included and we had to purchase a shampoo, co ditioner. Body wash if we wanted it. It wasnt expensive but still. Room was hot and hard to sleep even with the window ope. But between alergies and Korea air quality i suffered from sleeping with it open all night. This is the 3rd time i have stayed at the hotel and the worst yet. Hopefully they are working to make thi gs right

great old hotel; some may say its classic but its also little with smoke smell and no air-condition in winter time (it was awkwardly one hot winter day).

Well managed property. Recommended
I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Pro: Great view of the town from the room, comfortable bed, complete amenities, overall well managed property, Great rate. Recommended. Con: Not so great if you are using public transportation (not a major issue). Breakfast buffet is Korean cuisine friendly.

Great stay, would come again
My stay here was a business trip, and the Hotel Inter Burgo was a fantastic place to stay. The receptionists all spoke great english, and the check-in process was seamless. The room was extremely nice, clean and well-kept. This hotel had a keruig-style coffee machine that made decent espresso, which was pretty nice. I had the buffet-style breakfast, and it was very good, but for 29,000 KRW, I'm not sure I'll go again. For future stays in Daegu, I will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed just one night for my business. The lobby was spacious and well designed; coffee shop, restaurants, buffet, souvenir shops were available. My room was rather smaller than expected yet was clean and warm. The window view was spectacular with a peaceful river reflecting sunlight. The amenities were good; a flat TV, clean restroom, and coffee and tea, etc. Everything except room service was goo. The meal of the room service was not good in quality and I didn’t finish it. The hotel fee was not big compared to the overall quality. I recommend this hotel to stay once at least.

Not a good stay
Stayed one night while passing through Daegu. The check-in service was cold and rude. The room was very noisy; thin walls and extremely close to the airport. You'll hear low flying airplanes at all times. The room is dated but built well and comfortable enough.

Very nice exclusive location, with an awesome view. Staff was awesome. Cleanliness was ok, however, it wasn’t 5 star standard. And food was decent as well. Not a bad hotel.

Wonderful Hotel in Daegu. Will book again.
Wonderful Surprise!! Inter Burgo was well worth the money. Quick check in, a beautiful room and helpful staffs. I would not hesitate to book Inter Burgo again on the next trip.

The room i received was dirty. The was some kind of a spill on the walls and the lamp. The was a bunch of hair in the tub. Is like someone forgot to clean it

Dated rooms with unacceptable condition. Friendly
Two night stay on a multi city business trip. Hotel had seen its better days in the past. Mattress was firm like a rock (had to use comforter as mattress pad), shower head was broken and water came out in all directions, carpet stained, NO SAFE IN THE ROOM, and room fixtures are not in the best condition. Staff was friendly. Atrium and common areas in a good condition.

I was given an old dirty room. the pillows were not comfortable. the shower head was not adjustable. the sink was slow to drain. heating was very slow. desk chair was too low for the desk-used 3 pillows get get height-awkward. no universal outlets in the room. could not recommend with rooms like this...

Nice but hot
The hotel is very, very nice. However, the heat and air conditioning are not always customizable. During the spring, the system is still on heat from the winter season and the rooms were anywhere from 26 to 30 deg C.

OK if you must stay in East Daegu
Stayed for one night to visit family on my travels through Korea by train. A relative recommended this place for its proximity to the Dong Daegu Station. The overall impression I had from previous reviews was spot on - hotel calling itself 4+ stars for its amenities but unable to deliver because you have to add services on a la carte basis to experience it. I did not visit the casino or use the pool or fitness center at additional cost. The lobby and convention center entrance is expansive and is geared toward hosting weddings and events. The buffet restaurant is on this side - breakfast was OK and there didn't appear to be many options immediately around the hotel. The hotel rooms (I had to reserve 2 for my family of 4) were more standard 2.5/3 star level. Like most properties, they post pictures of their newly renovated rooms but most of us will get the standard room. The room was clean but my biggest complaint was what many others have posted already - it was stifling hot and the central AC control took a long time to cool down. We kept the spare card key in the power slot while we were out to dinner and the room was much more comfortable by the time we got back. Daegu is probably much more pleasant in the spring and autumn seasons. The hotel was a 10-15 minute taxi ride to/from the Dong Daegu Station (costing around $5) which was very convenient. If I were to visit Daegu again, I'd probably look at the hotels toward the center of town with better reviews.

Disappointing
Can't believe this hotel is rated 4 and a half stars! The main foyer area is nice- it's obviously been kept up to date but the rooms are so dated and disappointing. We ended up paying extra to change rooms as the first room we got was awful. Coffee(?) stains on the walls, tiny bed with an old cover, our view was looking over a garden area that was getting demolished so has to listen to scaffolding being thrown around by workers. Our next room was a little better but still extremely dated and disappointing. Location is terrible unless you like to gamble at the casino. Avoid!
