Good service but aging hotel. Bring your shampoo

Posted Jun 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
Overall satisfactory stay and well trained polite staff. Hotel facilities are old and in need of renovation. Bed was comfy. They did NOT provide shampoos but asked to buy a small pack for 3500 won ($3.50) which was a disgrace. Also one of the room smelled of smoke despite it being a smoke-free room.

wifi

Posted Feb 17, 2013
Pros: large space
Cons: no wifi in the room, does not provide free toothbrush
Location: walking distance from Yuseong spa station
it will be best if the hotel invest in wifi in all room as it is cumbersome for anyone who wants to use wifi to go to the lobby. However, the plus point is that I do think the staffs are very helpful.

Near sleazy places. Rooms look unused for years!

Posted Jan 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff doesn't speak much English at all and can only make out simple keywords. Hotel is located near numerous red light districts (just across the street) and the rooms are so dusty that you'd think it was unoccupied for the longest time, ever. Condition of room also looks antiquated and badly maintained.

Good Hotel, close to KAIST

Posted Jul 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
The room and the hotel were great. It is about a $3.00 taxi ride to KAIST, and about $5.00 to the Galleria Time World shopping area. It is quiet, however the surrounding neighborhood does not offer much in the way of restaurants for the single traveler. If you are with a group, it would be no problem. The hotel room service and restaurant food was acceptable, but of course a little overpriced. I suggest the buffet located in the basement. It is one of the best I've been to in Korea. The only drawback to the room was the fact that you couldn't control the air temperature even though the thermostat was in the room. The front desk was helpful, spoke English well, and helped me communicate my destination to the taxi driver. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay

Posted Apr 20, 2012
Pros: sauna
Location: execellent
We stayed one night for pleasure and we truely enjoyed staying at this hotel. The location was good and sauna was superb. Perhaps the bakery in this hotel is the best in this area.

The room is clean and comfortable. The staffs are nice and helpful. I used the sauna on the 3rd floor of the hotel. It is really enjoyable.

Comfortable stay

Posted Mar 14, 2011
I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. Front desk staff was helpful and efficient. The room was well appointed and quite spacious. The breakfast buffet was very good. I was traveling for business so was not so concerned with price, but the room and breakfast rates seemed reasonable to me. This was my first trip to Korea. The neighborhood was odd, in general I felt safe and comfortable but there are several adult entertainment businesses in the area as well as Korean "bars" and "nightclubs" (places that provide company with drinks). It is easy to ignore these places as the hotel has a coffee shop, 2 restaurants and their own bar.
