“Superb Hotel - Very Impressed!”

Just returned from a fantastic week at Dahab Paradise. The hotel offers a great relaxed and friendly atmosphere. No complaints at all and very likely to return shortly!

Situated outside the main town centre in a very peaceful location. The staff were lovely and friendly - nothing was too much trouble and they were proficient in organising well priced trips and taxis for excursions should you want it.

“Must be the best in Dahab”

A small and friendly hotel with great style and location. 10 minutes and LE15 by taxi from the centre of Dahab, so away from the crowds buts still convenient. Right on the sea - although the coastal road runs in front of the hotel, it is not at all busy and doesn't spoil the view. The menu and food are very good - but not outstanding by European standards. The only disadvantage is that there is no beach within easy walking distance, but that's not unusual for Dahab.

“This place really is Paradise in Dahab”

I stayed here with a friend for 2 nights after we had to move from another hotel we were staying at in more central Dahab because it was fully booked. This place is really beautiful and feels lovely and secluded compared to the beach front places in the town, and offers a little more luxurary than some of the other standard places. The place is beautifully designed and very tastefully furnished- a nice mix of luxury and simplicity. It ideally suits couples for a romantic hoiday venue, as it is a little far out of town for those who want easy access to the rest of Dahab (although only a 5 minute inexpensive taxi ride, and it is very easy to pick one up at any time of day). The staff were all fantastic- helpful, attentive, hospitable, friendly and curteous; we were made to feel like VIPs for the duration of our stay. The only negative thing we can think of is that the rooms, although superficially clean were not as spotless as they could have been (we did not mention this at the time of our stay, but I get the impression that if we had made a complaint, it would have been recified immediately). Also, the wireless internet does not reach the rooms, although can be used in the communal areas. In all, highly recommended, and would choose to stay here again if I ever return to Dahab.

“Will stay there again”

Very friendly and relaxed small hotel. We really enjoyed the peace and the wonderful views out to the sea. It is a bit outside the town (25 minutes walk) but easy to get a taxi if you don't want to walk. The staff are great - friendly, helpful but unobtrusive. We ate in the restaurant two evenings (barbecue and egyptian buffet - excellent) and a few lunches. The breakfast was OK but could be better - a bit more variety, real coffee, croissants and fresh bread would all be welcome. Our thanks to Nimisha and the team.

“Very relaxing week in the sunshine”

After a nightmare trip with easyjet flying out of Luton we eventually arrived 24hrs late - but it was worth the wait. We were greeted at the airport and driven to Dahab. This took about an hour. At the hotel our bags were whisked away while we checked in and shown to our room. On the bed were towels shaped as swans and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and out to sea. The rooms are not big, but perfectly comfortable and clean. The food is very westernised - we did not want chips or pizza, but there are plenty of restaurants in town which is only a short taxi ride away. We went on a camel safari and snorkel to a nature reserve which was great fun. The weather was sunny most of the time but also quite windy. It was in all a lovely relaxing week in the sunshine and we would go back again.

“Not all that I hoped for...”

I had read a lot of reviews about Dahab Paradise, but it didn't really meet my expectations. 1. Poor sleep comfort: the king bed was two single beds pushed together. Sheets were a rather scratchy synthetic fabric 2. Location: It is a good 25 minute walk to the city, and the beach near the hotel is not ideal for swimming. 3. Cleanliness: While the rooms were definitely clean, their was a distinct sewage smell in the bathroom and a lot of insects. We both woke up with bug bites. That said, the staff were very nice, and the restaurant serves great food. However, if I were going to Dahab again, I would stay somewhere closer to the city.
