“very relaxing and quiet hotel”

I was very pleased with the hotel. Will even return here alone for a peaceful getaway. Less than 5 miunute cab ride to boardwalk. Good food for the most part. Buffet for breakfast and dinner. Simple food but nice at the beach restaurant. Reasonable prices....except water for 15 le. Lagoon suite with hammock is the way to go!

Beautiful room. Very clean. Great beach. Very friendly staff. Quite far from the city centre.

“A creepy stay”

We were disappointed by our stay at the Hilton this weekend. Our stay is best described as creepy, as the staff were hostile and the hotel deserted. There was little do and we ended up getting long taxi rides into town each day to eat good Egyptian food as the offerings at the hotel itself were bland and overpriced. If you are looking for sun, sand and a bed to sleep in, this is the place for you. If you want anything else, look elsewhere.

“Disappointing and Generic”

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel, and found it to be a typical large and generic resort. Food is bland and tasteless. There were 4 restaurants on site, and from the menu it was obvious all were serviced by the same kitchen. (Menus overlapped in food offering.) Rooms are fairly spacious with nice balconies but a bit dated. Pictures of the hotel are misleading, as only one pool (and a small wading pool alongside) are open for swimming. The others are for aesthics only. If you are looking for a large "package-style" hotel with plenty of people offering buffet meals, pool-side aerobics for old folks, and plenty of run-around space for your kids this is the perfect place. If you are a couple looking for some Dahab flavor and a bit of intimacy and quiet relaxation stay clear! I would have also preferred booking a hotel in which you can snorkel directly from shore. From this hotel you need a boat or taxi to take you to the good spots. Only a fenced off swimming area with windsurfers buzzing around here. The hotel also charges for internet which is lame.
