“Great for families”

This hotel worked well for us as it was near to our family. The shops at Legacy are a short way away but you couldn't walk to them as there was no sidewalk. The hotel does have a little bus but we didn't use it. The little cafe area is great to pick up food for the kids and the bar area is a very pleasant place filled with games and a pool table to relax and have a cocktail. The staff were always helpful and very nice, so it all worked out very well.

“Non-luxury, but loved it.”

This is a very modern hotel. The lobby was like a club setting, but in a good way. Staff was very friendly, and was a great price. Rooms were comfortable and had lots of channels on the TV. The only thing I didn't like was the door to the toilet/shower area as sliding, and there was a gap. There was no exhaust fan, so you can hear everything that went on. Overall, the experience and comfort was very good.

“Great service, food and experience.”

Loved the service from the start. I called the hotel to make sure my reservation was already in their system and it was. The front desk staff was extremely caring and helpful. I was not feeling well and that's why I needed the most quiet room available. She ensured me I was going to be placed in a quiet room and she was sorry I was sick and that they would make sure to help me feel better. When I got there my first impression of the grounds were met. Very clean and well maintained. The lobby was decorated with taste and very chic. There was a birthday party at the bar/lounge area and the music was extremely loud! However, once I reached the second floor the music just faded away...my room was perfectly quiet and clean. The AC unit was a bit annoying not because it was too noisy but because the choices, simply on or off. If left on...the room got too cold....or off which the room got too hot. Besides that, everything was great!

“Its a 3 star hotel with 4 start reviews”

Entrance looks good and Music in the reception area is good and there are few games like pool etc. Glass door for the shower does not cover fully so lot of water on the restroom floors. No exhaust in the restroom. Coffee purchased at breakfast is poor taste.

“Horrible Customer Service! Will never go back!”

Horrible customer service! Unfortunately I had to spend the night at the ALOFT on New Year's and checked in 30 minutes before midnight. The room that they gave us was not what we reserved. Instead of a King bed we got 2 Queens. I went back to front desk and complained, but he replied that it's the only room available in the whole hotel. In addition, he was extremely rude and offered no apologies. I had to experience all of that 10 minutes before midnight on New Year's eve. My experience of going from 2010 to 2011 was ruined. Will never go back to that Hotel again!

“Love Aloft!”

I have stayed at W-Hotels before, but never Aloft. I expected the same high quality property. I got what I expected. Warm greeting, helpful staff, well appointed and clean property. My only minus was the noise level in the hallways. The other guests, were not shouting, but you could easily hear them. I asked how old the property was. I was told it was only 2 years old. It was in excellent condition. The desk staff made excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area. If you are extremely modest, the open floorplan of the rooms may be a little off-setting. Overall, I was extremely happy with my stay. A definite will share experience! I already have.

Area recommendations
We chose this location because we came to the Dallas area to see a Frisco Rough Riders baseball game. It is very conveniently located in the Frisco/Plano area.
