Good place to stay.Posted Sep 8, 2014
There was a glitch in our reservations that could have had a significantly negative impact on our entire trip. The GM handled the issue PERFECTLY. The staff followed up to make sure everything was ok. I was very impressed with the customer service. The hotel has a little more of a modern feel; it was nice to stay in a location with some character. Amenities were nice and clean and the location was very convenient.

Ok hotelPosted Sep 8, 2014
It was okay. We stayed at the hotel for a Saturday night only to be surrounded by screaming kids all around us. Waking up to them crying. Check out was at noon but ended up checking out at 9. It was a waste of money and ruined my night out with my husband. The walls are very thin!

Shower needs updated. Shabby, leaky, not appealingPosted Aug 20, 2014
Booked 2 nights thru Expedia. Plans changed, left after one night, hotel would not cancel 2nd night resulting in us paying for night we weren't physically even there. Per Expedia, they also contacts hotel for our refund of 2nd night, which was also denied by Aloft. Bathroom was tiny. Shower was leaky, shabby, needed tile fixed. Unsightly would be a good description.

Nice hotel.Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: If you agree to "go green" and skip room service for any day, they give you a $5 certificate to spend in the snack store.
Cons: The bar food isn't that great, but it is meant to be more of a bar than a restaurant. Very limited food menu.
Location: Great selection of restaurants nearby.
The hotel is fairly new, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is friendly.

Modern FlairPosted Aug 5, 2014
The decor was very modern and unique. The atmosphere was one anyone would enjoy - from the pool to shooting pool and more. My fave was the offer to "go green". That proves Aloft a conscientious establishment. Kudos!

ALoft PlanoPosted Aug 4, 2014
Cons: We had to call the front desk for extra towels both mornings. Hosekeeping only left two towels and wash rags.
Location: Great location!
Our stay was over all pleasing. The only issue i had was that we only had two wash cloths and two towels in the room. We had to call both mornings to get more. The second morning i had to go to the front desk and pick the items up.

Friendly staff - quick, efficient & accommodatingPosted Jul 21, 2014
This hotel is busy constantly and the employees work their tail off to make sure everyone gets checked in and taken care of quickly. I always think of this hotel as being hip and maybe not for kids but there was a lot of kids with their parents and it seemed like they were having a blast! Stayed one night and then realized that this hotel was a refreshing and relaxing hip place to stay. So, I booked the next night as well. Weekend rates are amazing. No better value in the Plano/Frisco area! Although nothing is within walking distance, everything in these towns are literally a 2-5 minute drive…Shops of Legacy, Stonebriar and so on. Cannot beat the locale of this hotel!
