Hotel need major renovations

Posted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: The only upside was that it was close to AT&T Stadium.
Cons: Hotel needs a complete makeover
Location: Location was ideal for a Ranger or Cowboys game.
This was me and my wife's second trip to Arlington to see a Cowboy game at AT&T Stadium. We found the Baymont Hotel online due to its close proximity to the stadium. When we entered the lobby we found it to be very unkempt and malodorous. Our room had a terrible odor and the rugs were filthy, not to mention the broken smoke detector hanging off of the wall! Despite the poor conditions of the Baymont, we'll be back to Arlington for another Cowboy game. We definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Mediocre hotel across from Six Flags

Posted Nov 12, 2014
The check in manager was not rude, but not professional either. When we went to room, the window had been left open and was an adjoining room with thin walls. Needs updating. Tub drains slowly while taking a shower. The light/fan in bathroom was quite noisy. Two towels for 4 people. When going to get more, clerk on her cell phone. Was not able to get names of nearby restaurants. Due to thin walls, we were able to hear all of the conversations in next room (not the hotels fault). Fan on ac was not working and ceiling fan looked like it was going to fall from ceiling.

NOT THE SAME!!

Posted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: It's close to the stadium.
Cons: Get rid of whatever is making the police present needed.
Location: Great location pretty much in the middle of all activities and the mall !!
This has been my go to hotel for the pass 5 yrs its location is perfect for the stadium events. This year the hotel seemed to be flooded with police as if criminal activity maybe taking place. The rooms are ok not as clean as they have been in the past, I had to change rooms air wasn't working.A little pricey for the quality of the room but they up the rate due to the cowboys and redskins game, had to change rooms air wasn't working I think next yr I will look around for a better location.

Just Okay for a short stay

Posted Oct 22, 2014
Pros: Close to six flags
Cons: The cleanliness needs to be improved and carpets should be replaced.
The carpet in room 130 is very old and dirty. A lot of stains on it. I did not want to walk barefoot on it at all. The room cleanliness was disappointing as well. Breakfast was OK and the area was well kept. The rates are decent but I would recommend paying more for a nicer hotel to feel a lot more comfortable. I only stood for 2 nights so I was able to tolerate it.

The absolute worst!

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: Nothing the carpet is disgusting, dirty stained. The curtains were stained with water rings
Cons: A huge remodeling job
Location: Six flags
I had to purchase sheets and towels, because the ones in the room were suspect. I also purchased cleaning supplies. I was given a smoking room and requested non smoking due to health reasons. I would have gladly moved to another hotel, due to several sporting events during my stay I was unable to relocate. This hotel needs a major overhaul. One good thing it is in very close proximity to the At&t statium and six flags. Don't waste your money!!!
