Clean - comfortable - good locationPosted Nov 15, 2014
Pros: Restaurant on property - retro, very cozy, clean and convenient.
Cons: Security outside to assure no panhandlers in parking lot
Location: Central to typical fast food and mid-range restaurants nearby.
I prefer hotels with room doors opening to outside -- not many left or most are outdated / unkept. This hotel had doors opening to outside, but was updated, comfortable and clean. I had no issues. The hotel wasn't full on a weekday, but I could foresee parking issues if more guests. parking lot is small...parking spaces are short.

Nice concept, poor smell...Posted Nov 1, 2014
Pros: Free breakfast. Nice staff.
Cons: Replace carpeting and linens.
Location: Near downtown. Nice location.
Rooms are in need of replacement carpeting and linens. Strong smell of beer, urine, cigarettes and body odor. Requested to switch rooms and almost as bad of smell in "VIP" room. A/C loud and had to have maintenance man work on it to quiet it down. Probably a decent facility if they could curb the foul smell throughout. Very nice continental breakfast. Probably will not stay in a Best Western again after this experience.

Just off Central Expressway (75)Posted Oct 27, 2014
There were very few hotels available close to where we were spending the weekend and so this hotel was one of very few choices. The hotel staff were friendly and the room clean. It is just off the freeway so it was a bit loud but we slept fine. People in room next to us were loud (people knocking on their door and lots of laughter after 10 pm) but not the hotel's fault. We had no problems and it was fine.

Good affordable choice for a short stopover.Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Central location, clean, wifi access.
Cons: I was a bit chilly on arrival - air coming from heater smelled like it was in bad need of a new filter so I couldn't use it.
I stayed here during an overnight layover at DFW so I could have dinner in town and a comfortable place to sleep; I checked in late and left early. Pretty basic motel style accommodations, but everything I needed for the night. The room was clean and I was able to access the wireless internet to book an airport shuttle for the next morning. I came prepared with earplugs and would recommend bringing some if traffic noise is likely to bother you as it is right on a busy main road.

pleasant place, good locationPosted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: The ladies at the main desk were very helpful and encouraging.
Cons: Maybe not have powdered eggs. All else about the breakfast was fine. Sausage was very good
Location: Lots of dining options for casual attire. Distance to downtown/major roadways made getting around very easy. Once traffic settled in am, was calm.
The desk personnel are very pleasant and helpful. The location was great....close to downtown and our destinations. The traffic noise was not a problem. We discovered that exiting Fitzhugh and making a U-turn rather than attempting the access road was a better option. The room was typical motel room. The TV was excellent with lots of channels and wifi is available. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in town.

ok, but noisyPosted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Staff was very good and helpful. Rooms were very clean!!
The hotel was clean and the staff was great. There was just to much noise. Hotel is right across from the freeway. there was noise all the time. Then on Friday and Saturday night didn't get much sleep. After the bars closed it seemed that the party moved to the parking lot of the hotel. Party did not settle down until 4:00 am both nights. Lots of beer cans and liquor bottles in the parking lot.

Clean and quietPosted Oct 3, 2014
Pros: Relatively close to state fairgrounds. Quiet. Clean.
Location: Good restaurant next door.
Spent two nights here while showing livestock at the State Fair. The room was spotless and comfortable. The motel is very quiet, especially for being on a freeway. There's a small, 24-hour restaurant next door with a friendly staff and eclectic menu. The only issue I had was that they had decided to paint their parking lot, and their timing was lousy. During a three-day span when nearly all of their customers were driving heavy-duty pickups, shutting down half the parking lot was a bad idea.

Nice hotel convenient to where I wanted to go.Posted Sep 30, 2014
Easy check-in. Beaitiful room with a great big bed. Front desk provided me shaving cream when I ran out. Accommated my late check-out time of 1:30pm (although housekeeping knocked on my door a couple of times wanting to know when I would be leaving prior to that time).
