Very disappointedPosted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Reasonably clean; good breakfast
Cons: See above; staff should be more responsive. Tha hotel description should state cleary that no closets are available.
Location: If you have a car, there is immediate access to the Dallas highway system.
Have stayed in Best Western Hotels many times and I was reasonably satisfied; this one was a different story. Upon arrival we discovered that there was no place in the room to hung our clothes; no closet, no clothes rail, nothing. Asked the front desk for another room and was told that no room had such ammenities. The airconditioner had a musty smell; the response of the front desk was that they will report it to maintenance. During the three days we stayed there nothing was done. Almost all electrical outlets, except one, were hidden behind furniture.

Pros: location is good.
Cons: see above
There was no closets AT ALL in the rooms. No place to hang stuff at all. Bathroom was tiny. Mattress felt like a brick. The breakfast staff looked like they were the police watching everyone eating. Felt uneasy. I understand if people are trying to sneak food to their rooms but this felt uncomfortable and made me not want to eat.

They were doing maintenance and it smelled like paint and the floorboards were ripped out on at least two floors. Dishes left out in the hall for room service breakfasts were sitting there until mid to late afternoon.

Room needs attentionPosted Aug 24, 2014
A.c. was very annoying "loud" there was water dripping directly on the toilet, and hair smeared all over the floor no electrical outlet by the bed for phone to be charged. All of this made the exsperience uncomfortable.

The hotel is being renovated. It did not mention that on the website. The hotel would have just okay, without the bugs.

under constructionPosted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: The areas that were done looked very nice, clean, and updated
Cons: It would help if there were someone in authority were actually on the premises
Location: Once you learn the road system, it is actually easy to get to and leave
this is an older motel and one would expect some renovation work; unfortunately, this was done on the same floor and adjoining rooms. The air conditioning in the common areas (lobby, dinning room, ect.) was not in good order and these spaces were really warm, being August in Texas.

Pros: Lobby, breakfast.
Cons: Please see above concerning room/elevator.
Location: Difficult to find the hotel.
No closet in room...not even a coat hanger. Tub was clogged. Walls were in need of repair. Elevator's appearance was very run down. Lobby was very nice. Breakfast buffet was very nice.

Good hotel, few fixesPosted Aug 11, 2014
The hotel staff was wonderful, they were professional and positive with my group. We overslept, and ended up not leaving the room till 2:30p on a Saturday. We told housekeeping (who politely knocked on the door to clean our room) we didn't need a cleaning, as we had only slept in the bed in our time there, but housekeeping actually came back by the time I had returned (around 10:30p) and cleaned the room, gave us new towels, soap, etc. The breakfast buffet was alright, it only lacked a chef to make omelets, as I have seen in other hotels. However, the milk and juices were all very warm, even after changing the bottle. I can only assume the refrigerator where it was kept was on low temperature or not working correctly. However, a great staff and recently painted rooms and halls. The lobby and bar were also very attractive and had a good modern look.
