run down hotel

Posted Mar 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
I was very disappointed in it, My son had no heat and not hot water. He was there for 3 nights studying for the Texas State Bar and he did not sleep because he was too cold and he is last morning the most important day could not take a shower due to no hot water. All I received for this frustration was a tacky $25 gift card. I don't think I will ever use this chain of hotels. I can't wait till he gets his license. He will be traveling ALOT and I guess won't be staying with this organization.

Dear guest, Please take our most sincere apologies; unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances (with the water boiler going out for a few hours during your stay ) we could not accommodate you better. Thank you for staying with us, we appreciate your business.

Very nice rooms for a great value!

Posted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: Size and cleanliness of the rooms. This is more of a suite and had a kitchen, living room and separate bedroom.
Cons: There is no breakfast offered but you can bring your own food as there is a full size refrigerator, microwave and two burner stove.
Location: Centrally located in Las Colinas with a short drive down McArthur to a ton of eating choices
I only stayed one night but realized I should have booked my entire trip in this hotel. Very nice, clean and spacious rooms.

I live in Irving

Posted Jan 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
I stayed here to while my electricity was out in my condo in South Irving, it was very clean and the front desk was bilingual. Good wifi, and it was comfortable, but I am partial to this little city since I have been here for 9 years..and know what it offers its residents. Will be willing to stay here again..!

great value

Room was much like a suite with fridge and microwave. The room was very comfortable and the desk area was large and presented an open work space.

horrible experience

Posted Jan 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
Could hear people arguing the entire time and when I tried to use the air conditioner it made the loudest noise and scared my girlfriend. There was no climate control ability it's either freezing or hot. The hotel said there was cookware in the room but this was a lie to one tiny pot and no oven fell waybelow my expectations I would never stay there again.

Solid extended-stay type hotel

Posted Sep 7, 2013
Pros: Treadmills didn't work in the exercise room. Location was a little tricky at first, but after returning a couple of times, I had it down.
Cons: I know you're supposed to bring your own supplies, but leaving some dishwashing soap near the sink would have been nice.
Location: Plenty of places to eat, Kroger within 5 minutes, Target is 10 minutes away.
I arrived a little earlier than I had anticipated, and the very friendly woman at the desk found me a room, even though I volunteered to return later. The room was nice by my standards -- I suppose if you're expecting everything to be in perfect condition, you're in for a letdown, but the only wear I noticed was a chipped-up coffee table. I'm always amazed when people expect a room that has been used by hundreds of different people to be in perfect shape, especially in a value hotel. Bed was comfortable, but the pillows were pretty terrible -- like laying your head on nothing. I found the surroundings to be quiet overall, even when people were using the grilling area. The AC kept the room very cool, and the honor system pantry room was pretty cool. Plenty of places to eat nearby, you can drive 5 minutes and wind up at a strip of nice local restaurants, or turn the corner and get food from a chain.
