Great staff

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: They seemed to have done a fairly recent refresh - new carpets and new couches in the rooms, but it was not a full remodel or anything like that.
Location: There is a Red, Hot and Blue, a great little BBQ restaurant, directly in front of the hotel.
The manager who checked me in was super nice. He looked like he could have been a pro wrestler or ex football player, but he was as friendly as could be.

Breakfast was the highlight of the stay

Posted Mar 18, 2014
Pros: The breakfast. Bagels, muffins, yogurt, egg & sausage patties, toast, danishes, juice, milk, coffee, fruit, etc. It was pretty good.
Cons: Replace filters in A/C's that are old, toilet paper rolls are in a hard to reach place, & get new mattresses in rooms where they completely sink down.
Location: We were in Carrollton, so there was a Costco not too far away, which was great for fueling up your trucks, 7-11, eateries, Wendy's & other fast food.
We checked in and thought the room was decently clean. We could tell that our room had updated features, which I thought would be a good thing. The toilet paper was in a weird place in the bathroom, so I couldn't reach it and had to take it off of the holder and set it on the counter. The beds were really soft and hurt our backs...I guess those weren't updated like the rest of the room. The shower was awful and the base of the shower head wasn't even caulked into place. You could see areas where mildew and mold had been covered up with caulking. The water pressure was awful, despite the shower head with several different settings to choose from. The room was either too cold or too hot, so we had to mess with the controls all through the night to stay comfortable. The filter smelled filthy and we all suffered sore throats and severe allergies while in the room. The very next day I was severely congested and when I blew my nose, there was visible dirt in the tissue. It was disgusting. Breakfast was good, and my kids said that this was the highlight of our stay. When we planned our trip to the Dallas area, we almost booked this room for 2 nights, but I'm glad we didn't. We ended up driving into Frisco to stay at a different hotel and that worked out better for us.

Renovated hotel

Posted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: quiet and comfortable room, friendly front desk staff, good coffee
Cons: noisy fan in the bathroom
Location: Close to Preston Rd, many restaurants to choose from, near Whole Foods and Trader Joe's
Good value for what we needed for a 3 night stay. Breakfast had everything what can be expected. Nice variety of restaurants nearby, also close to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. Coffee all day.

one night stand

Posted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: employees were polite and nice.
Cons: have the clerk respond to the needs of the customer such as needing a handicap room
room was dark. one light bulb was out and I could not get it replaced. my wife is handicap and I asked for a room close to the front and I was given a room close to the end of the hall.

We apologize for the inconvenience. As we are often full and, being in a medical district, have high demand for rooms that are close to the front, we were unable to fill that request at the time of your stay, though we try our best to do so. I will also discuss with my staff what to do under the circumstance of a bulb not working. That should not be an issue since we do, obviously, have bulbs in stock. We apologize for that inconvenience.

Close to Baylor Hospital

Posted Jan 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
I choose this hotel because it was close to the Hospital. I even stayed an extra day because of some tests I had taken at the hospital. Staff was great, breakfast was very good and rooms were clean and comfortable. Would stay again if I go back.

nice hotel renovating

Posted Jan 6, 2014
They were doing renovations outside on the hallway, so it smelled a bit outside but inside our room it was clean and quite. It was quite a pleasant stay, and I would recommend this hotel to my friends. It'll probably be very nice after they finish the renovation.
