I arrived on a Thursday for my stay. The room was hot when I entered it and had a musty smell to it. The air conditioner didn't cool too well. That evening when I was showing I noticed on the soap holder there was a lot of small hairs, like if a man had shaved in the shower. The next day (Friday) when I arrived back to the hotel the room smelled even worse. There wasn't any electricity due to the storm; so I opened up the curtains and there was open coke cans on the window seal which were not mine. Saturday morning I asked for a new room. The front desk attendant was very nice and helpful. We moved rooms and that evening the room had a musty smell as well. It could be the ac in the hotel.

Very nice hotel

This hotel saved the day. I had to leave my apartment for 2 nights due to renovations. The hotels around my area were too expensive and the motels were kind of scary but when I found this hotel I knew was perfect. Fit in the budget and it is as nice as the expensive ones. Reservation was super easy, I got an online discount, check in was fast, room was clean, comfortable bed, access to wi-fi and cable and I had a view to Ray Hubbard Lake. Breakfast was yummy!

Nice view, very noisy

Pros: I liked the size of the room and the view.
Cons: The windows should be replaced with newer more sound-proof ones. The breakfast selection was only so-so, and the dining room was dimly lit.
The room was comfortable, but very noisy. The view of the lake was nice. The TV reception was terrible.

Pros: location
Cons: more updating but it does appear some recent work was done
Location: malls, lake, park
in town for a swim meet, lodging was priced great and hotel was nice all the way around

Pros: Clean and good location
Good comfortable hotel room. Good hot breakfast. Good access to highway system. Actually on a large reservoir.

Everything was very good with this hotel. It was just a one night stop-over on the way to our final destination. No complaints at all.
