“Older hotel, but clean and nice staff”

Price was great and this hotel is nestled amoungst a lot of shopping and restaurants. It was clean, breakfast was great, even used real plates and silverware instead of paper plates. Halls and exterior was somewhat tattered. The rooms themselves were nice though. Walls were paperthin, but I haven't been to a hotel in a long time where that wasn't the case. Behing the hotel was residential was older apartments. But there is a fence that completely surrounds the parking lot. Did not really notice any airplane noise.

Area recommendations

Addison is north of Dallas, it is newer and has lots of great restaurants and hotels. It is just off the beaten path for me cause I travel I20. Highways getting up there are always bumper to bumper.

“Great for a business trip”

I spent three nights in this hotel for a business trip. The service was good, the staff was friendly and professional, and it was mostly quiet. The airport shuttle was a bit unreliable in that it took over an hour to pick up and then went to collect guests at another location before we went back to the hotel, meaning it was more than two hours from the time I got off the plane until I was finally at the hotel. Otherwise, it was a reasonably pleasant stay.

“Better than average over night stay in DFW area”

Nice hotel with a homey feel. They bake cookies that are available for the guests in the reception area. Some chain restaurants nearby. Took a taxi $14 plus tip to "Tommys Barbeque" in Irving...really good!

To begin with the corridors, carpeting was dirty. The room, though spacious, was worn down, smelly.

not sure of his name, but there is the same guy each time I check in usually late afternoon that is always very friendly and helpful. I also like option of having a smoking room. The shuttle service is a great service and helps so much. Makes staying with them so convenient.

“Will definitely use again!”

Everything was excellent except there weren't enough towels and wash clothes in our room. When I went to the front desk and asked for some more, he said they were out. We had four people in our room and only three towels and one wash cloth. One morning I left a note and they left enough that day, but then the next day, there weren't enough again. I don't understand why they do that after you make reservations and they know how many people are going to be there. The breakfast was AWESOME!

“very disappointed”

No water in the pool , only one machine worked in the fitness center. The first night we were there the people upstairs banged and stomped all night and I got no rest. The blow dryer didn't work in the room. We were expecting great things from the reviews here on Expedia, but not a good stay. I even called to verify that they had the pool and fitness center so they lied. The staff was nice, the room was clean. That's it. Ended up going to another hotel. So my 6 year old could swim on his spring break vacation.
