“It was okay”

Stayed during OU/Texas game weekend. Was one of the few hotels that allowed only one night stay. Most required 2 nights minimum. Reasonable price.

“Convenient and nice”

Crowne Plaza at Market Center was a terrific location as we had to travel to Arlington, Ft. Worth, Mesquite and then home to East and South Texas. The traffic was not too bad on 35E like it can be on 635 or Central. The beds were wonderful and the breakfast buffet excellent. I searched for a hotel with an indoor pool but then we never had time to use it! The T.V. didn't work in the exercise room and a bum did ask us for help one morning when we walked out but usually there was a police car outside and a security officer. The parking lot had a nice gate around it and I really didn't feel unsafe. I would stay there again.

“ok for the money”

Tattoo convention the weekend I stayed there. A lot of people outside smoking cigs standing by their motorcycles. Kind of wierd that the hotel let them park there bikes right outside the front dor. What's up with that?

“it was just ok ..”

The staff was very nice but not very talkative. The hotel is older, has everything you need in it .. bar .. restaurant .. which was great! but the plumbing was slow ... the shower water did not drain well... took too long for front desk to answer the phone

“Star Rating Too High”

The hotel is nice, but a 3.5 star rating is a bit high in my opinion. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The pool area and the outdoor area adjacent to the pool area was in desperate need of maintenance. We booked this hotel through the Unpublished Rates and the price was great. Wouldn't pay regular price for this hotel.

Area recommendations

We go to Dallas specifically for concerts at the Gexa Energy Pavillion. I would recommend staying in the Market Center area.

“Good choice.”

We were impressed with the quality of the hotel and the service. Everyone seemed to go out of their way to be sure we enjoyed our stay. We had a convention at another hotel in the area and were provided with van service to and from that convention site, saving us parking fees and problems, and we were dropped off at the door. Little requests like extra coffee were taken care of with pleasant smiles. When we returned home we realized we left clothes hanging in the closet. A quick call to the hotel and housekeeping had our clothes waiting for our pick up. I highly recomend this hotel for fights out of Love field, market area needs or just for a nice relaxing weekend visit to Dallas.

“Got A Great Deal - But NOT Worth More Than We Paid”

Hotel was nice however it seemed a little run down and lacking in TLC. Our air conditioner had a leak that made the carpet in front of the tv wet. We let the maid know of this problem but she did not seem to care or pass the info along. The pictures on the Internet were nicer than the real deal. The road in front of the hotel was a one way frontage road to the interstate so it was confusing to figure out how to get back at times. Overall, it was an average value for the price we received and no longer than we stayed we were able to cope with the flaws.

Area recommendations

Grand Prairie or Arlington were the areas we spent most of our time so next time we would probably stay that direction
