Nice location yet need improvement

Ok overall stay, ac didnt work. I expected queen size beds, felt like full size beds.

looks much better in the photos...room was ok, but the towel had a long hair on it, and the carpet seemed unclean and old. Bed was comfortable.

Bad experience

The hotel was next to a bus stop. Bad part of town. Never stayed at a hotel where I had to pay for parking. Beds were uncomfortable . Went to turn my room key in and not staff.

Hotel overwhelmed during my stay

Pros: Bed was comfortable, room was spacious.
Cons: Noise insulation to the outside seemed bad and some traffic noise and a police helicopter were heard easily in the room with the balcony door closed.
Location: Street just the other side of the DART station with lots of restaurants. Downtown Dallas not much of a tourist haven. Convention centre is close.
The rooms were clean and pretty good, though noise insulation outside and to the corridor wasn't that great. There was a big event on at the convention centre and the hotel didn't cope very well with the large number of people checking in or trying to eat breakfast in the restaurant. At certain times there were queues to get into the elevators and with all of the guest rooms well up on the floors, they were the only option so you just had to wait. It might have been made worse by lots of people wanting to do things at the same time and if you were there when the convention centre didn't create this kind of problem, the hotel would have been running a lot smoother.

We do apologize that you did not catch us at our best, and can only assume from the date of your post that you were present during the Roller Derby World Cup. We are actually a very busy hotel, with great amounts of experience with large groups, but there are times that when everyone shows up at one time or in huge chunks, that it does not matter how experienced, how well trained, or how well staffed that there will not be delays or hiccups along the way. Just like with the elevators, they can and we can only do so much or move a certain capacity, and when everyone comes at once... Anyway, it is what it is, and we appreciate your comments, opinions, and the fact you chose to stay with us. We truly are sorry that we could not be more or were not more accommodating to your needs, and we will work even harder to make sure to be more efficient in the future. Than you again. Good location, nice size room - dated decour

I really can't complain about the comfort or size of the room as both were great. Really nice central location within walking distance of a majority of the tourist attractions. Great if you want to budget your food costs while away with a fridge and microwave in your room. Overall the amenities were all covered and of a high standard. My only complaint was the carpeting and general decour was stuck a little in the early 1990's so made the hotel look a lot worse than it actually is - but for the price and the added bonus of free in room wi-fi it was well worth the cost.

It was clean and easy. The walls were a bit thin, so if you're a light sleeper, I would suggest you stay somewhere else. But other than that, it was fine.

El estacionamiento te lo cobran doble cuando sales el cajero te cobra y como no dan recibo lo cargan de nuevo a la cuenta de tu habitación, seguro en Dallas hay mejores opciones las instalaciones son viejas y en malas condiciones el restaurante deja mucho que desear y el ama de llaves desde temprano anda queriendo hacer la habitación...

The interior is so old especially the carpet.

Pros: Location and very near AAC.
Location: AAC
Bed sheets and towels are bleach clean but carpet is so old and smelly. Overall, the hotel interior is very old and dark. The breakfast was totally money waste. Some information I received at Check-in was complicated, such as $25 security charge if any accident occur to the room (will not charge if nothing happen), $16 parking but need to check-in at the gate each time you leave the garage.

We are also at a loss in regards to the comment about the hotel being old and dark? Are you speaking of the room, hallways, or public spaces? We were renovated in 2010 and won awards from IHG for that renovation, though our popularity has led to heavy traffic on our product and some items are starting to appear worn. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations, but we hope to provide exemplary customer service that will lead to guest satisfaction. Again we are sorry we could not satisfy your expectations, our mission is for every guest that checks in to check out with little or no complaints, and to have wonderful, pleasant memories and experiences to take home with them.
