Cheap hotel where every single thing costs extraPosted Dec 2, 2013
When we first pulled in we had to pay $12 daily for parking. I found this ridiculous. It did not mention this on the website. All of the surrounding hotels had free parking. You also had to pay for wi-fi. Continental breakfast was $13.95. It was just very annoying to have to pay these extra fees when they are usually complimentary in most hotels. I forgot to mention that the indoor pool was freezing and my kids were not able to even go in it even after they turned the heater all the way up.

Stay at MarriottPosted Aug 26, 2013
Cons: more comfortable pillows
Location: Location is close to a lot of restaurants and shopping
Comfortable stay . The pillows were a little uncomfortable to sleep on.

Cons: Hot tub and pool need repairs
Do not get a room on the Tollway side of the building. The rooms are not insulated enough to drown out the constant noise which made sleeping next to impossible.

The location is great and was centraly located to get to the great restaurants and activities in the city. However, the stay was underwhelming. The staff is mediocre and the service does not stand out i any way. I had a pleasant stay, but it just didn't stand out. As a matter of fact, we attneded a wedding reception in the hotel on the 20th and the wait staff seemed irritated with the guests and were non conversational. (Maybe most didn't speak english) While I understand that not all staff may speak english, I think it is important that they at least try to be more engaging to the guests because it comes off very rude and uninviting.

wish it was betterPosted Jul 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel itself was very fancy. Unfortunetly our room was not. I was missing the mini fridge, the vent in the bathroom didn't work at all, and the bathroom looked gross. When you walk into the lobby, it's beautiful. Then I got to my room and I was very disappointed.

a little disappointed--neither great nor awfulPosted May 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
expected a really nice upscale urban high rise , but got a motel 6 in a different shape -disapppointed by: tiny , unimpressive bathrooms, insufficient, and industrial towels, small, cramped room, ill- fitting bedsheets, (so much so that it distorted the shape of the mattress.) no fridge, poor in-room amenities. Friendly and attentive staff did their best to accomodate, but had a mountain to climb

My wife and I stayed on a Friday evening, after working in the area. It was an incredible evening. I think we'll do it again ... soon.

we were married at the hotel 23 years so it was nice to revisit past memories. The service was very good.
