They accept pets, which we liked, the room was fine. However there were no trash cans or baggies for the dogs.

Above and beyond!

Posted Feb 19, 2015
The hotel was wonderful - great facilities, very clean and wonderful service. The staff even went above and beyond to help us out when some important delayed packages (we stayed on business travel) arrived after check out. They made sure the packages got safely to us before we left town on a tight travel schedule. We couldn't be happier with this hotel!

Hyatt 2914 Harry Hines Dallas Uptown

Pros: staff
Cons: Room
Price noted, $250.00 per night, the Hyatt Dallas Uptown is disappointing . The room's bathroom was not clean and tub not properly corked.

Excellent location for attending events at the American Airlines Center - easy walk, but the hotel even provides a free shuttle if you would rather ride than walk !!

Very good

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It's older but nicely updated. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was pretty good. Expedia reservation did not go through although I received a confirmation. The check in at the Hyatt took care of us and honored the rate. Close to AA center. I would definitely stay again.

I called the hotel directly before making the reservation to make sure they offered the services I needed. I was advised that they did in fact offer shuttle service to and from DFW and had a courtesy shuttle that would get me to and from the hockey game. Based on the information provided by the front desk staff I booked the room. They actually do NOT offer shuttle service to or from DFW airport. That cost me an additional $100 in shuttle fees. The shuttle to and from the America Airlines Center stops running at 8:00 p.m. so we had to walk back from the hockey game. We arrived early and our room was not ready, when I asked what there was to do in the area while we waited the girl at the front desk just shrugged her shoulders.

Great hotel for families

Posted Feb 3, 2015
My husband and I stayed here with our 8 month old son. Room was perfect for our families needs. Complimentary Breakfast had a good variety. Hotel has been updated since we last stayed there in 2011. On the map the location looks inconvenient but we love the location easy access to all highways in Dallas and it is walking distance to the Katy trail and the American Airlines Center. Will definitely stay there next time we are in Dallas.

A hidden treasure

We needed a hotel for one night close to American airlines center. It had a wonderful continental breakfast, a great shuttle service, and recently updated rooms. The only negative I can say about this hotel, is that there is a $15 charge for parking for the night. Although it is my fault that I did not look at all of the amenities and parking that this hotel has. Other than that it was a perfect stay!
