"Great hotel"
We stayed at The Melrose for the night. We enjoyed the room, our drink in the Library, and ur breakfast. Leon got us to our dinner destination and we were within walking distance to many other locations.

"Another great stay at Springhill Suites Dallas DT!"
We just returned from our 2nd stay at the SpringHill Suites Dallas Downtown. We were attending a Convention. We could have stayed at one of the sponsored hotels like the OMNI which is adjacent to the Convention Centre. However, I would rather stay at the Springhill Suites. The thing that really stands out is the friendliness of the hotel staff. They go out of their way to say hi and to make your stay enjoyable. My suitcase didn't make my flight. I was worried I wouldn't have my clothes for the first day of the Convention. The night manager slipped a note under my door to let me know the suitcase arrived in the middle of the night. Another great feature is the great hot breakfast included in your price. It saved us a lot of money as well as the complimentary shuttle within 3 miles of the hotel. As well, the area can't be beat! You are walking distance from many great restaurants and tourist attractions. Don't forget to check out Ellen's next door! The food is AWESOME!

As someone who's never been to Dallas, I had no idea that the Magnolia Hotel had historical significance. I was very excited to see it listed in informational packets at the Reunion Tower and in children's books at the Aquarium. It makes for good discussion with the kids. So does delicious daily breakfast and quiet cocktail hour in a luxe lobby. Valet and front desk staff went above and beyond each time, too. I was pleasantly surprised by housekeeping staff who gently removed my things from my bed, made my bed, then replaced my things just as I had left tgem. We never had to ask for anything... Except room service which was pretty stellar, too. =)

"Great location and wonderful service!"
We wanted to visit the Dealy Plaza Area , the Red Museum and the Perot Science Museum. This hotel is in the perfect location , near to all three. It is in a delightful historic building built in 1925. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated . They are remodeled in a modern style. The hotel staff was fantastic and helpful. The free breakfast is very good, and the front desk clerk brings out warm chocolate chip cookies around 5 pm ! The building is old but our stay couldn't have been better.

This downtown Dallas hotel is beautiful, but its guest services are what make for a stunning experience. It exemplifies service as a profession and reminds of a time gone by.

"Wonder staff"
I took my wife to Dallas to attend a concert at the American Airlines Center. Upon arrival the receptionist ask about our trip. We shared with her that the concert tickets were a Christmas/Birthday present and that was why we were there. The receptionist was so kind and expressed her excitement for my wife. She told us that she would have a surprise for us. We were shown our room and we were amazed. We had been upgraded to a suite that was simply awesome. So now we are ready to go and eat before the concert. The concierge recommends a fantastic restaurant, makes a reservation for us, and has the hotel driver take us in a new Mercedes. After eating she has him to pick us up and take us to the concert. After the concert, when we return to the suite, we have birthday cake and a bottle of wine waiting for us. How could I not recommend this hotel? Its a bit pricy, but I would love to stay there again.
