Stayed for 4 nights for a conference, shuttle back and forth, 10 minutes. hotel a little old, fitness room - extremely basic, noisy tread mill, earphones plug out of order. breakfast was good it's ok, just don't expect too much.

Location is great! Staffs from front desk, concierge, dinning areas are all very nice and helpful. However the interior of the facility seems to be quite old. The bed is not as comfortable as we were expected, maybe we are just too spoiled.

Market Center 2015

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: I was very disappointed with the facility.
Cons: Needs a total remodel. The evening dinner menu was very limited. One elevator was not in service.
Only positive thing to say is, it is close to the Dallas Market Center.

Great service!

Posted Mar 13, 2015
We actually didn't get to stay overnight as my wife had a medical emergency but the service getting checked was fantastic. We came back a week later the day my wife was dismissed from the hospital and stayed the night to get some rest before heading back home.

This hotel needs some improvement

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Cons: Maintain the elevators better, you should have a quick turnaround to get them back in service when they are broken.
At the main lobby there were a total of three elevators. When we arrived one elevator was already out of service. By the second day another elevator went out of service and the elevator that was not in service when I arrived on our first night was still out of service. So by my last day there was only one elevator working and of course, this caused a tremendous amount of delay in going up and down the rooms. Interesting enough there are no stairwells that will at least lead you down to the main floor inside the hotel lobby somewhere, all of the stairwell doors leads you outside of the building. It was cold in Dallas during the week that we stayed so this was somewhat annoying. I spoke to one maintenance person while I was waiting on the 3rd floor elevator lobby and he seems to think this is normal. Well I can tell you that I have been to a lot of hotels and so far all of them has a stairwell that at least takes you inside the building lobby.

Very convenient to medical center.

Posted Feb 28, 2015
Pros: Very close to UT Southwestern medical facilities. Hotel rooms are nice and well furnished.
Cons: Soundproofing could be better.
Location: UT Southwestern medical center is nearby. Market Diner is just across the side street. They serve home-style cooking with reasonable prices.
Room was nice, but it faced toward the light rail tracks that are adjacent to the hotel. Rail traffic was somewhat noisy.

Pleasant staff and great shuttle service! Would recommend to friends if you are staying for only a few days. Right next to Parkland hospital.
