“Good For Business Travel”

Good hotel with reasonable rates. Room was comfortable and the staff was very nice. Meals at the dining area were very enjoyable. I stayed here on a business trip and have no feel for what the stay would be like if traveling with family but the proximity of the property to Frisco/Plano area attractions was a plus.

“Close to shopping & IKEA!!!”

It's location is very convenient. The staff was friendly. My room was missing a hair dryer and one was brought to me in a timely manner. It's a newer hotel so in good repair.

“Do-able in Frisco”

The hotel was very clean and nice. Staff was friendly. However, the downside was the lack of soundproofing. I could hear people in the hallway, next door, and even upstairs. Also, breakfast was suppose to be included with my stay (based on booking) but wasn't clear how to make it happen. Actually ate in the restaurant, but ended up paying for it.

“Bad experience”

Hotel staff was tenacious, I was accused of smoking in the room and charged $250.00 because the room smelled like smoke which may have come from clothes worn out to a club. Terrible experience, I have never been treated so offensively.

“Stayed Jan. 2008”

Will never stay here again. Paid in full through Expedia and the representative at Holiday Inn still charged my credit card for the stay. 10 days later, I am still trying to get them to take the charge off. The representative also tried keeping my drivers license and credit card (2 seconds before giving me my hotel key, he pushed it underneath the monitor where I couldn't see it, I had to ask for them back). The air conditioner did not work. I could not do rapid checkout because I was arguing with the front desk about taking the charge off. For the last week I have been dealing with Holiday Inn corporate to take care of the problems and they can't because Holiday Inn's are individually owned and they say there is nothing they can do, that I need to contact the hotel directly. I do that and they can never seem to find the right person that I need to talk to. Not worth the headache and time spent afterwards to stay here again.

“Thin walls”

The walls are very thin, You could hear the room next to the head board. You could hear people in the hallways as well.

“Clean, friendly, comfy bed and quiet”

Clean room and the workers were friendly. I did notice the carpet in our room was torn all the way across the entire room and the shower looked like it had had some shelves that had been removed. The bar area was not open, said it was closed for renovations. We walked across to a different hotel and went to the bar area there.... The bed was very comfy and the hotel was quiet... Those things are very important to me.
