“Not a keeper”

I had to spend one night, from 8pm on and since the hotel was conveniently located and had a special price, I took it. It was clean. Bath area was very clean and shower was good. That's about all I can say. Needs upgrading desperately! Chairs in my room were old and stained, walls were scarred, TV was old and remote buttons hard to press. No free wifi. Staff was very nice and attentive, lobby area pretty. Worked out for me the one night, but wouldn't stay for an extended length of time or recommend it until remodeled.

“would never stay there again...”

Booked this hotel because it cost a little less then the surrounding options, but not much. I thought I would save a few bucks as I would only be there one night and could deal without an amenity or two....no big deal. Wrong! Worst decision. This place reeks of smoke, both the bedroom and common areas (I had a non-smoking room). Bed was hard as a rock. Linens are cheap and thin. Food stains on the counter tops. Air-Conditioning functions well below par (Dallas in June is extremely hot and humid). And, the walls are paper thin. You will hear every door slam and conversation in the adjacent rooms. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra 30 bucks and stay somewhere else.

“Its Alright”

Nothing fancy, staff was mostly friendly, they only vacuumed once a week for long stay rentals, only one pot and pan in the room. At least the AC worked.

“Always enjoy my time there.”

This is a really good place to stay , the rooms are clean and comfortable , there are amenities such as an exercise room, and a laundry room. The rooms have a refrigerator , stove, microwave ,also provided dishes, silverware and pots to cook in . Continental breakfast everyday, and friendly service always . It is my home away from home any time I have to stay in town this is where I stay.

“Will go back.”

Since there is a high turn over in rooms, be sure to check your room for cleanliness. We did and found it had not been cleaned. However, we called the desk and immediately, the room was cleaned. My only complaint is that even when you ask for a non-smoking suite, you can be booked on a smoking floor without being told.

“Entire hotel reeks of Stale Cigarettes”

Besided the fact that the rooms and hallways reek of stale smoke, the "High Speed" internet service was like using dial up!

“Never Again!!”

I made a very late reservation w/late check-in but when I got there, they were running reports and couldn't check us in. One of my kids fell asleep in a lobby chair and then AN HOUR LATER they said their system had flipped to the next day (it was abount 10:00 p.m. by now) and because of Expedia allowing our late reservation that they couldn't check us in for the correct day and their system was trying to bill us for 2 days. It just got worse from there. Very RUDE person at the front desk (she blamed me and Expedia for the problem!). It took almost 2 hours for them to get me a room; the bathroom in our room had mildew in the bath , growing on the floor, and on the shower tiles. No shampoo, etc. and the toilet paper roll was almost empty. The "Continental Breakfast/Bagel Bar" consisted of one toaster and your choice of a plain bagel or raisin bagel and your choice of plain cream cheese or strawberry cream cheese. Nothing but coffee to drink- no juice, milk, or even water. Check-out was not much better. They couldn't give me a receipt because "they had nothing to do with my stay, it was between me and Expedia" so I made the front desk rep hand-write one for me. They have some real issues to work on re:customer service!!!!

“Great value for the cost”

We stayed at the Homestead Studio Suites in Richardson three times during our relocation to Richardson, each time for a week or longer. Make no mistake; this is not a luxury hotel. But, for the cost it is an excellent value. The suites (an efficiency in our case) were clean and comfortable, maintenance was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
