Enjoyed the hotel.

Overall, this was a nice hotel. Easy access to restaurants and the night life. I am a light sleeper, and it was a bit noisy outside of the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. For me, the room was comfortable, and I liked the decor.

A room with no view.

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: The location was good. Near the night life.
Cons: Elevators! Room views!
The staff was courteous and helpful in every interaction. The hotel was renovating their elevators and only had one working for 14 floors. That was painful. I wish I had known that before booking. The rooms looked right into other rooms. Someone had designed this hotel as an "H" and the interior rooms look across at other interior rooms. Ugh!

not worth the money

First, parking was across from the hotel. The valet didn't offer any help. The room was very small. Shower and closet did not have doors just cheap curtains

Closest hotel to Deep Ellum!

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Love this hotel. It's perfect if you want to be within walking distance of Deep Ellum (my favorite part of dallas). Wonderful friendly staff and rooms are well kept. I will stay here again soon!

Dallas Long Weekend

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: The fact that it was an older building, and the staff
Cons: Better shower curtain
Location: The main street area has a lot of (pricy!) restaurants and is close to the famers market, but there were quite a few homeless around.
The hotel was nice, but being an older builidng the room was small, but nicely painted and decorated. One issue was the shower curtain was too short and a lot of water got onto the bathroom floor.

Unpretentious, handy, comfortable

Most of the music venues we frequent are within three miles of this hotel, and until 10 pm transportation to and from is free and friendly. Corner suites are bigger. Bartender has been the same fellow for a few years and he and most of the staff are cool and helpful. Can vary a bit from the menu if you ask...I love this place. Parking isn't free but almost any place you go is going to charge for parking so it balances out

Nice but get a suite. Regular rooms too small

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: Decor, clean linens, quiet
Cons: My suite had no desk, which I did miss. Also maid daily service leaves dirty dishes in room.
Hotel room was very clean bright and fresh. Don't expect much from daily cleanup crew. Breakfast in the lobby was fine. I would stay again.

the hotel was near everywhere I wanted to go.

Posted May 27, 2014
Cons: The entrance. I has a very strong smell of wc deodorant.
Location: Nothing much. I took the light rail to go to the malls.
Sorry, but you never told it was NOT a Bed and Breakfast reservation. As it was obvious, I never asked. When I had my first breakfast and was told to pay, I was a surprised. They charged me for a yogurth parfait and two cups of coffee 11 dollars. One night, There was a leak in the wc that lasted a whole noicy night. As I paid for six nights, I think, that for the same price I could have gone to a better hotel near.
