“What a surprise!”

Honestly I was not familiar with Kimpton Hotel chain, but I was so impressed with the quality of the product, service, very comfortable rooms, spacious, complimentary internet access and a nice chocolate and music at turndown service. The art impressed in every detail is unforgettable, I think is a good value for what you are paying.

“Great Style!”

We chose Palomar for a weekend getaway and loved it. It has a modern, sleek feel without sacrificing warmth and comfort. Beautiful decor, bedding and fixtures. Staff was great and room service breakfast was a real treat. Location near Uptown, Downtown and Greenville Ave. makes it easy to get around. A bonus is being able to walk in Trader Vic's for fun ambience and a tropical drink. We stay many nights in Dallas and will put Palomar on our favorites list.

“Sharon -best way to start holiday season”

We traveled to Dallas for Thanksgiving- most centrally located for all family members to meet. I kept a close watch on Expedia prices and hotel locations in Dallas taking into consideration price, comfort/amenities, location. The heated pool was definitely a factor in my decision to pay a little more to get a lot more. I was not disappointed. The staff were friendly, courteous and professional. The location is fabulous- walked to the KATY trail, the pool and hot tub-divine. The fireplace in the hotel lobby was a nice suprise. We had breakfast the morning we were checking out. - delicious fresh fruit and toast. I would definitely want to have dinner there the next visit. Loved the view from our room. I had the pool and spa to myself at 7:30 am, steam rising into the 40degree air and sun-rising, sipping my coffeee from the lobby. Dallas is very clean. Museums are great.

“Very Nice Spot”

The Palomar was very nice. Recently remodeled, the common areas and rooms were fairly upscale. The location is great, particularly if you are visiting SMU, which we were. The only issue we incurred was getting our car from the valet parking at the same time as hundreds were arriving for a special event in the ballroom. Other than that minor item, which I chalk up to bad timing, it was a great stay. We will definitely stay here again when visiting SMU in the future and I'd recommend this hotel to others.

“Urban Chic”

This recently renovated (8 months) hotel is very sharp and well appointed. Rooms are beautiful with a large flat screen tv. Good location, centrally located near Highland Park and University Park. Shopping and dining also very close. Good value for the money.
