“Very nice! Great location!”

This was a very clean and nice hotel. The room was nice and warm when I arrived, and it was freezing outside. The room was almost as nice as my fancy 4 star in downtown Houston the following night. The staff was very nice. The room was a great deal! I'm very happy with everything. I liked the location. I would definitely go back. I've stayed at a lot of hotels, and this is a real deal.

“Grand in Grand Prairie”

The Howard Johnson Express in Grand Prairie is a small motel close to I-30 about midway between Fort Worth and Dallas. The accommodations were comfortable, clean and well cared for; the decor was simple; the staff was friendly and personable. A little driving is required to reach Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, major restaurants and shopping; however, this is near Dallas, after all, where driving is required to reach anything. Morning breakfast was less than we had expected: cereal, oatmeal, a couple sweet rolls, and toast to accompany juice, coffee and milk. We would definitely stay there again.

Our room was clean and just renovated, fresh paint, new bedding, furniture, etc. only problem we had was one of the beds in our room had a broken plank in the middle of the bedframe. The front desk person quickly gave us a new room and apoligized. The hotel has a lot of restaurants and banks and gas stations within a block or two. All were safe and friendly staffed. Even the people we did not know in adjacent rooms were friendly. Lots of lighting in parking lots. The fridge and microwave also came in handy that week. the free breakfast was just cereal, danishes, bagels, coffee, juice. Not a hot breakfast but for the price we paid, it was just fine. Would stay again if ever in the neighborhood.

Has a safe,iron, fridge,outside pool imean wat else can u ask for. Great hotel wod recommend 1mill times.

For the price this hotel was very adequate. It is a little out of the way for some but we were more used to Grand Prairie. The continental breakfast was nice with good fresh fruit.

Cheap hotel but not dirty or disgusting. Not as close to Dallas as I would have liked, but it was clean and safe. It was also very close to a major highway. Nice deal for the price.
