“An Unlikely Jewel”
I loved staying in this little place of calm in the middle of Dallas!
One of the nicest features is that they have created their lobby to be an "experience". This means it's almost like walking into a Starbucks. Right next to the front desk, you can peruse sandwiches, snacks, desserts, and beverages for prices more reasonable than your usual mini-fridge.
You can walk up to the small bar area and pull up an online menu, then place your order, and the food will be brought to you. We sampled the tomato basil soup (excellent) and several sandwiches and breakfast while there, and ate in a semi-private area with our own TV.
Alternatively, they provide a large kitchen complete with sitting area, should you prefer to bring your own food and cook it yourself!
The room (2 doubles) was spacious and had a large sectional sofa that turned into a queen, which was handy when we had a guest join us.
The parking is gated, providing an unneeded sense of safety, but much appreciated.
And, best of all, you could not hear people walking up and down the hallway, doors closing, the freeway, and etc!!!
