No hassle stay. Water is expensive $4.50 per litre of bottle. Was here on business

Fantastic stay

Really a good stay - just too short. Be sure to see JFK memorial just blocks away - walking distance.

Very nice hotel - wonderful service, 24 hour snack

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: availability of food at all hours
Cons: restaurant service and food availability - the Italian restaurant was not that good, and the food at the bar was basic.
Location: Didn't go anywhere else
Attended the 2015 RT Booklovers convention and stayed at the hotel for 8 days - it was WONDERFUL. Rooms were a nice size for the meetings, plenty of areas to attend the events, food was just ok in the restaurants.... not as good as I'd hoped, but the snack bar had sandwiches, breakfast bagels, etc. drinks, snacks, et al and was open 24/7 so we were good to go! Room was clean, staff was very helpful and friendly - would absolutely stay there again!

Good hotel

Stayed there for a convention so it was busy. However, the hotel staff did their best to provide good, prompt service. I appreciate that.

Great and pleasant stay

Cons: Hotel parking should be closer, probably on the street where valet parking is available.
The ambiance of the hotel is excellent. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The hotel is provided with indoor bar and restaurant. I lived on the 14th floor with a great view of the city. Valet parking is expensive so decided to self park. Self parking lot is quite far from the hotel. It will take atleast 5-10 mins to walk back to the hotel. so rated 3 for hotel facilities.

Okay hotel, but not the best.

I was lead to believe that I was getting an amazing deal on an exquisite hotel. I ended up paying the same price as I would and have on other hotels in the area, yet did not get anything special. It was a clean room. The bed was pretty good. It had a mini fridge. The shower was adequate. It had a TV with decent channels, but slow connectivity with the remote. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, but I wouldn't pay $19 for it again. The staff were really great. They had events going on, so there was a lot of noise late into the night--they did provide earplugs. It was pretty convenient, but a bit further away from some things--but, hey, I need more exercise and walking is good. Decent place, but I doubt that I'd stay here again. I would hope that no one ever pays "full price" for the room.

Close hotel to downtown venues and Baylor college

Very nice, clean hotel. However, it was very noisy throughout the late evening early morning hours. Lots if hallway noise and terrace activity that carried up to the 10th floor @3am. 😩

Just About Perfect!

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Pretty much everything. Location was ideal and it's condition was immaculate. For the most part the staff seemed eager to please and enjoy their work.
Cons: We went down to the hotel bar on the second floor to watch a ball game and have a few cocktails. Frankly the bartender on duty was the sole down side.
Location: Easy walking distance to the JFK museum and the historic west side.
It is hard to rate a perfect score with me but this Hyatt made a serious run at it. Stellar facility and location. We got checked in promptly and the room was perfect. We were hungry for a good steak and I asked a bell man for a suggestion. He was very courteous and obliged with a great place just a few blocks away.

Good hotel location

The security guy was extraordinarily rude. I happened to have to take an emergency call late at night in the hallway and was followed by a hotel security guy which basically threatened me that if he had to come back up there I would not be sleeping there that night. Very unprofessional.
