Don't bring your children

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Near Hobby Airport
The rooms were aged and lots of shady characters hanging around the property, they rent the rooms at the rear of the property by the week, so lots of unlicensed pharmacists and worlds oldest profession hanging around the property. Not recommended.

There are better values nearby

Posted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: N/A
Cons: More efficient room layout
Location: Lot's of restaurants and nightlife
The room was so small we could not put our bags down anywhere. We cancelled the remainder of our stay and found much better accommodations at the nearby Ramada for only $10 more per night.

FIRST & LAST TIME

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
Location: just passing through
When we entered the room there was a moldy smell. NO HOT WATER…sink or shower. Online advertised continental breakfast…WRONG..there was nothing. The hotel itself was in a horrible area, no place close by to eat. Had to walk 4 blocks to McDonalds. Very disappointed.

Good Basic Hotel

Posted Jan 21, 2015 on Hotels.com
My boyfriend and I stayed at Knights Inn Market Center for a celebration for my birthday. We thought we could take a weekend trip to Dallas. I chose this hotel because it was just under 15 minutes away from Downtown Dallas where all the things we wanted to do and it was $115 for the weekend which was very cheap compared to the other hotels. Now, it was just a room to stay in. It was clean very basic. We stayed in an upstairs (2nd floor) non smoking double queen beds room. There are no elevators. The room just had a TV and a bucket for ice. There was no iron, hair dryer, refrigerator, coffee pot or microwave. There is a microwave in the hotel lobby along with an ATM machine, ice machine and vending machine which not only has snacks but razors, condoms and cigarette lighters. I don't think they serve a continental breakfast. This is a basic hotel that is good just to sleep at. This was fine for us. That was all we intended to do since we spend all day exploring the city. This is a good hotel room for you if all you need is a bed to sleep in and a place to shower. By the way the first time we showered there we had to take really cold showers. The hotel seems to share water heaters or not have a good one because someone in other rooms used all the hot shower. That is my one downside to this hotel, but I guess it would be okay if we visited Texas in the summer...

Solid no-frills value for a low price

Posted Jan 20, 2015 on Hotels.com
The hotel was exactly what I expect from something in this price range. I have stayed here before and will stay here again. It is close to the Dallas Market Center and the medical district, without having the prices (or amenities) of the nicer and newer hotels that are in the area. It was clean overall. The bathroom was renevated within the last couple of years. Jazz at the front desk was friendly enough. The flat screen TV was new since my last visit and worked well. The sheets and towels were old and thin, but clean and servicable. I needed an inexpensive place to shower and sleep and I got what I needed without paying a lot of extra money for things I didn't need and didn't have time to enjoy. The hotel was full of business people working at the Market and traveling work crews.

Great value!

It was small, no blow dryer or fridge. However, it did have a comfortable bed, good tv and most important it was clean! Will definitely stay there again.

Due to an Expedia error the hotel cancelled my reservation so when I got there that night there was a bit of a problem. I had to pay the hotel directly and am now working out getting reimbursed from Expedia who I actually paid. Hotel was low end which may may be necessary for some folks. The hotel was booked by my assistant so I didnt realize what it was until I got there.

Mattress hurt our backs, felt like we were sleeping on a tilt with head rush, TV old, no coffee pot in room, staff couldn't find extra pillows till the last night ( gave only one & no pillow case) plus skimpy with towels, bath tub with a hole & bugs in the bathroom. Sorry but true.
