The bed wasn't made well at all, and the room was small.

Nice getawayPosted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: Style, comfort.
Cons: Bathroom door.
Location: Close to airport.
The room was nice and modern, if a bit small. We did get the loft model, but it was a bit narrow near the doorway, and the door was pretty heavy. Slide door on the bathroom wasn't much to our liking, and wasn't very private. Place was clean. Diner staff was mostly kind, but a bit "snippy" or short with us. Maybe if you dine in they're more cordial, so I may suggest not calling in your order and picking it up.

Pros: The room was modern loft style. It did not look like you were staying in a hotel.I liked the way the room was decorated.Very relaxing.
Cons: The first thing I noticed when I walked in the hotel was that the floor needed to be dust moped and the rugs were dirty.Lucky the room was clean.
Location: I like the location.Lot's of places to eat and shop near by.The hotel is easy to get to.
It was a nice quiet relaxing stay. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable.I had dinner there at the hotel and the food was good.I would stay there again.

Bare minimum hotel. Bare concrete walls and floorsPosted Jan 20, 2015
Room is a concrete cell. Bathroom door merely slides to the side to cover the entrance. Room was cheap in you can see why right after you walk in. Room was clean as were the beds. Tv was smallish. I would say the k cup coffee machine is nice. Nothing wrong with room or stay, appeals to youth. Did not like the high presence of pets. ( hotel is dog friendly )

Nice hotel close to homePosted Jan 18, 2015
Excellent hotel close to home, plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Close enough to shopping to drive. Perfect for a weekend get away or for an anniversary trip.

Contemporary ambiencePosted Jan 17, 2015
Location: Good location for the corporate crowd at that end of the Dallas metroplex.
Overall experience was very good. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous with a very strong "we'll do it for you" attitude. Liked that very much. Contemporary interior, but they need to work on the showers. I was given a handicap accessible room, which I didn't need but it's good to know they have them. The shower had a gasket to prevent water from leaving the shower area, but it didn't work. The concrete floors helped the water to linger a bit, but a quick walk towards the bed took me out of the flood zone. Not to make a big deal out of it, it was the only thing I could think of out of the ordinary. Very pleasant experience.

Not what I expectedPosted Jan 14, 2015
What a wonderful time we had spending Christmas at NYLO. The pictures do not do this place justice. The food from the restaurant was absolutely amazing and a big change from traditional waffles, cereal, etc at other hotels. The staff was super courteous. We will be staying here next time we come to Dallas.

Quirky Hotel off the main pathPosted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: Geared toward a younger, hip business crowd, but just as attractive to the casual traveler... and affordable.
Cons: The front desk staff seemed a bit detached and less than friendly.
Interesting hotel with an industrial, loft-like vibe. Great bar scene and pool areas. Easy access to airports and downtown Dallas.
