Best hotel experience ever.

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: The service, cleanliness of the hotel and the room.
Cons: I should have booked an additional night.
Location: We were there for relaxation so did not see much of the city.
From the moment we drove up to the hotel and were greeted by the valet to the moment we were brought our car, the service exceeded our expectations. The hotel was very clean, the room was very nice, the waterfront view was very relaxing and the meal at the restaurant quite tasty.

Nice hotel, terrible construction.

Posted Dec 15, 2014
There is no doubt, the Omni hotel is a well kept hotel. However, beware there is extensive road construction going on around the entire property. Getting in and out was inconvenient and it is quite unsightly to look at millions of orange construction work cones and signs everywhere. This isn't the hotels fault, but it takes away from the aesthetic of the hotel for sure. Also, the hotel had a lot of evening events going on, so I was not able to find any of the usual free parking. Ended up being charged about $20 per night because I had no other option than to valet my car. For this reason, I would not pick this hotel again in the future.

Central Location

Posted Dec 9, 2014
Pros: Location, Amenities
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: I went to the Galleria, Six Flags and Downtown Dallas. If you aren't aware, those places are not close to each other, but they didn't seem far away.
I rented a Mandalay Suite for my anniversary, and I was very pleased. Growing up in the area, I have always known Las Colinas was a very business-centric city, but I wasn't exactly sure why. As soon as I walked out onto the balcony I immediately understood. You can see downtown Dallas, DFW and Love Field Airports, as well as about a million things in-between. Our suite was spacious and gorgeous, and I couldn't have asked for more. I plan on staying here again soon, and I definitely would recommend it to anyone who is doing business in the DFW area, or just looking for a nice, local escape from your ordinary lives.

It was great. I have never stay in a hotel like the Omni. Very nice but don't like the idea you have to pay for Internet in room

Very nice hotel

I had a great experience in this hotel. There was only one thing wrong and that is that the room didn't have a small refrigerator. But cause of the great service and very friendly staff it over shadowed the bad. Thank y'all.

Not great for what's supposed to be an upscale hot

Posted Nov 29, 2014
Pros: Clean room, parking was close by
Cons: Shut down the 3rd floor walkway to the pool area
Whatever you do, don't take the 3rd floor walkway to the pool and exercise room. This little jaunt was what really turned me off the hotel. The elevator you take from the 3rd floor down to the exercise area and pool smelt so bad, and while they tried to cover it up with these little scent things in the corner of the elevator, it was overwhelming. For the most part though, the hotel is pretty nice. But I found it equal and on par to a standard Marriott. Far from luxurious. Fortunately we got a great deal on the room, but it wouldn't have been worth it at the $250 a night full price.

Stayed 2 nights, the room was like coming home from a long day at work. Would stay here again.
