“Convenient to Baylor Hospital in Plano”

This is a purchase of a former Baymont Inn and therefore this location is difficult to find since it is tucked in between several other chains in the immediate area and does not have new signs on the main road. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are great for the price available on Expedia.

The location of this hotel abput 10 miles from Plano and without any public transport nearby means that you either have to have a car to get around or settle in for a relaxing retreat. There is a good selection of restaurants a few hundred yards up the road - although very few of them are open past 8pm on Sundays. You also have to cross 16 lanes of traffic to reach them! There is a good liquor store on the corner. It was a relaxing, comfortable stay but the neighbourhood is, as I suggest, unexciting.

The positives: the room was very clean. The bed and chairs were comfortable. It was easy to connect to the wireless internet in-room, and the connection stayed solid during a thunderstorm. The surprises: the building is "motel style" in that all the guest room doors open to the outside. Didn't impact my stay, but it might be a security issue for some. While the rooms *do* have sink, cooktop and refrigerator, they have *no* plates, glasses, silverware, or cooking pans. If you want to use the mini-kitchen, you need to bring everything. The only negatives from my stay is that the vending machines on site were out of order for the length of my stay - 3 days and no repairs? Also, my room was missing a TV remote. Overall, the expedia rate made this a bargain property to sleep at. If you plan to use the kitchen, bring your own utensils.

Although there was nothing outstanding about the hotel, there was nothing wrong with it. I would have no problems staying there again.

Not fancy, but was decent place to stay.. Breakfast was ok. IHOP, tacobell at walking distance. DART busstop outside the hotel..

Clean room, most amenities such as fridge, microwave, ironing board, hair dryer, coffee machine. Very reasonably price.

“My thoughts on Plano Days Inn”

Drawback was that tub, sink & toilet were all in one room. If someone was taking a shower, the other person could not brush teeth, comb hair, etc. No mirror in eating/sleeping area. Poor lighting near chair & ottoman, as well as, no bedside lamp. Kitchen table and desk had ample lighting but I like to read in a comfortable spot. As for breakfast, orange juice tasted watered down and coffee was luke warm. Facility was clean. Would probably stay again.
