It was nice, they just need to spray for roaches and bleach the bathtubs. Besides that, staff was both hard-working and efficient in getting what we needed right away and keeping the grounds clean. It was cheap and close to our business affairs.

I stayed in a room with a single bed. The room looked clean just didn’t feel clean. The decor isn’t nice. Everything looks cheap. You definitely get what you pay for. The coffe station was in the “lobby” where the front service woman was rude to everyone around her. She was nice to me so that was nice but it just felt grimy. The coffee has small white styrofoam cups for some cruddy coffee. It seemed a lot of shady people stay at this Red Roof Inn. It looked so much nicer online than it really was. I just locked all of the locks and tried to watch to cable until leaving for the airport the next day.

This stay was a nightmare! Filthy! garbage all over the property styrofoam and plastic all over the sidewalks and hallways leading to the room. The room was disgusting. The windows completely fogged and damp. the peep hole stuffed with tissue. It reached of marijuana. The shower head was her on with tape. Dirt in every corner. When wiping the floor with a tissue in the bathroom it came up black. When lifting the sheets there was a couple of hairs and dirt pieces in mine, and dirt pieces in my sons. We would have left and slept in the airport if we could have checked our bags. Needless to say we spent a sleepless night on top of the covers feeling so grossed out. We kept counting down the hours for our 3:30 shuttle to the air port, which was then delayed. Do not stay here!! Even if you justify its just for a few hours. I complained to them directly and have had no follow up. Also don't listen to them when they say the shuttle will be there any time from now to 30 min. We had to call them twice for pick up. They showed up an hour later in a transport van with filthy stained seats. Don't try to save a bit of money. Stay far away from this business!

For me, Red Roof is great at what it does - which is provide a good, airport adjacent hotel/motel room that's reasonably priced with services such as laundry, vending machines etc aimed at supporting weary travelers. And the staff are great - my airline lost my luggage as I was transiting through Dallas from a vacay in the tropics so I arrived at Red Roof with no night clothes or a jacket (in January) and the front desk staff (Jasmine) went out of her way to help me find a few items to carry me over until my flight the next morning. Above and beyond - thank you!

So starting with the good parts. The price was good and the location is close to DFW airport, making this a good place to stay when traveling. The rooms have pleasing decorations and the bedding was clean. Daily maid service is available. We had a broken phone and TV and called and they sent someone immediately to fix it, which was great! The downsides... While the flooring is not carpet (which is a plus) and it LOOKED clean, it is obvious the maids are not mopping it between clients as our socks were black after walking back and forth to the bathroom for one night. Also, the bottom of the bathmat (towel) had black streaks after it got wet from absorbing the dirty floor below it. When we arrived, the room literally stunk - stale cigarette smoke and not sure what else but we had to Febreeze the heck out of the room daily to be able stay in it. It was a non-smoking room but the people next door smoked like freight trains and the smell seeped in every time they lit up and made it worse. Outside was not TOO dirty but it was obvious the maintenance staff had no interest in picking up trash that people throw down around the property because it stayed the whole week we were there. So the motel would be GREAT I think if the manager would get hold of his maid and maintenance staff about CLEANLINESS and correct those issues.

Nighttime intruder.
Short notice stopover at DFW. Trying to be fair, it's very handy for the airport. Shuttle was efficient and timely. Bedding was immaculate and fresh. Very safe neighborhood. However, room was stinky. Little annoying things like plug missing from sink and teeny weeny towels, scuffed paintwork, probably reflective of the low price. Highlight was my 4am visitor. Little mouse making an absolute racket attempting to escape the trash can!!

Unfortunately, this property was below my expectations. I should have known that you get what you pay for with a $59 room. It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t great, either. I didn’t feel particularly safe. Specific things that I can point to: there was an ironing board in my room, but no iron. The property was very dated but did have some upgrades like new flooring. No chair to sit in the room. The TV was small. All in all, it was just a very basic, dated hotel.

It got a little better after day 1
I wasn't looking for the Marriott experience or anything, but somethings should go without saying. It's hard to leave a review since I know what I paid for. Do I think they should make some improvements "YES" Cleanliness should never be taken lightly. Maybe everything else you can deal with. I checked out early I thought I would be reimbursed after leaving early, I guess not! Then again why would they? It's just my opinion that profits shouldn't outweigh costumer service. But that's just me. If your looking to just hook up or stay one night it's probably for you, but business trip I wouldn't recommend this place. That's my honest opinion!

I like that the property was near restaurants and close to the airport. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was really clean and organized but their was a foul order to the room I saw a roach cross the floor but wasn't to alarmed as I was traveling alone, and needed the room for only 6hrs. The pics online are slightly misleading, but for $70 bucks you get what you pay for.

The room I was originally in the bed was not made so they put me in the handicap room. The people who clean the rooms opened my door the next morning while I was in the middle of having sex. The condition of the hote andl the room was poor at best.
