“Nice Hotel, Good Value”

Clean and roomy. Beds were excellent for my bad back. No extensive frills but has good extras: Free continental breakfast included hot waffles, a big plus! Air conditioning worked well and was quiet. Satellite TV had a good selection of free TV programs (although a few channels had reception problems). Next to a major highway, but it was quiet enough for undisturbed sleep.

“Disappointment the Second Time”

Stayed here within last 2 months and it was great. This time the toilet could not replace the water because of faulty rubber ball--it was replaced but still did not work properly without manual adjustment with each flush. Bath tub drain was plugged and water drained very slowly. Rugs were dirty and needed not only vacuuming but also shampooing. Blanket had a cigarette hole and was stained. Front desk personnel and housekeeping supervisor were nice though.

Trash was not being collected from any of trash cans on site. All trash cans had bags of trash sitting around.

For the money spent I have stayed in hotels in much better condition. This hotel is need of a MAJOR upgrading and redo.

“Worst place in Richardson.”

I was tired and had a last minute need to stay over at a place nearby my location, so I called Expedia to find a hotel nearby. To be fair, they did not guarantee rooms, but for someone not familiar with this particular area, I was appalled. This was drug hotel central. You could tell by the condition of the room that it had been used long-term by drug abusers. The room was smashed up, full of blood stained carpet, cigarette burns, fixtures torn off the walls, etc. To be fair, the current management offered other rooms, but the other rooms were in similar condition. This one was the worst of a bad lot. Although, the room was probably clean, it gave me the creeps. The motel was old, battered and not well-cared for. I would never use another Red Roof Inn again.
