“Dallas,TX”
reasonably good hotel; never saw a restaurant menu. needed to walk outside to access hotel shared parking garage; clean rooms-quiet
“Great hotel, but be prepared for fees”
Hotel was beautiful. But in 2011, for a hotel in the business district to charge 15 bucks a day for internet.. thought it was a little greedy!
“Lots of hidden Costs!!!”
The Hotel itself was nice. Comfy rooms, nice pool, etc... The only thing that turned me off were all of the extra costs. Be prepared to pay $14.00 a day for parking ( in a garage that is across the street), plus a $50.00 retaining fee that will be refunded back to your checking account 7 to 10 days after checkout. Also, though the breakfast was very good, it was a bit pricey. Everything else was great.
“Wedding trip to Dallas”
Arrived at Hotel at noon, three hours before check in time. signed us in, carried bags to room, and we were in the bar in 15 minutes waiting for my son to come and get us. Easiest check in ever. All the staff were focused on one thing and that was my total satisfaction. When they found out that we were the out of town parents of the groom I felt the service got even better. One of the best exercise rooms I have ever seen in a hotel. Nice pool that was open almost all day except from midnight to 6 am. the breakfast bar was open early and reasonable in price. The main dining area was a little pricey so we went out for dinner. the location was in an absolute perfect place and easy to get to just about anywhere. we found the DART system train had a station right in front and made it very easy to get to downtown Dallas in 25 minutes. It would have been nice to have a little more free coffee available in the lobby all day but limited amount in the room were available at a cost. We came to the hotel for my Sons wedding and reception and from that point of view the hotel , staff and coordinator did an out standing job. I look forward to going back next year for a winter visit, and we will stay at the Renaissance Richardson.
“Renaissance Richardson - the best place to stay with children !”
The Renaissance Richardson Hotel is the best place you can stay when you travel to Dallas with children. Superb courtesy of the staff, excellent rooms and service, outstanding friendliness, a great indoor pool for kids and parents, a great value when you book with breakfast - just perfect. Our kids love to play in the pool, which has always been warm (in contrast to some other hotels in the Dallas area) and which has a size that you can swim and play. The whirlpool is not babysized but extremely comfortable. Everybody is extremely helpful and friendly and I can recommend this hotel to anybody how has children no matter which age.
“Hope to be able to come back one day!”
It was all a ]around a great stay. The people wear nice and made sure that my needs were meet! My kids even had an awsome time & if we ever have to go back that way we will stay there again!
“Great hotel!”
Upscale hotel in the North Dallas/Plano area. The rooms are very modern and comfortable and feature a good size desk. The front desk is very responsive --- my remote was on the blink and they sent someone to replace it within five minutes of my call. I ate at the bar and food was very good. The fitness center is well equipped as well. All in all a very pleasant experience.
“Definitely the place to be in Dallas.”
For those traveling to Dallas, this stop is well worth the expense.
“Next time we are in the Dallas area, we will stay here,”
Hotel was everything we expected from a first class hotel
“Great hotel, Far from airport”
The hotel was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative I found was that the hotel is a long ride from the airport and you have to hire a ride (taxi, shuttle, car service, etc) which is a little expensive.
