The spa says it allPosted Oct 24, 2013
We have stayed at this hotel with mixed experiences. Our last day was superp, with great service and a fantastic room. The thing that sets this hotel apart and the reason we go back is the spa. We have gone to spas around the country and even in other countries and the spa is the best of them. The staff is amazing. They completely go above and beyond and taking care of you and giving you a personal experience. I love the food bar and healthy options they provide. On top of everything, it's the only spa in the Metroplex that has a steam room, sauna, a whirlpool and a cold dip that's consistently functioning. The steam room is amazing.

Seeing Stars..Posted Oct 9, 2013
Location: Great location. Downtown, near American Airlines Center. So much stuff to do there wasn't enough time to do it all.
Came from Canada to see the Stars play the Capitals. A perfect day. Started with a trip to the Zoo for our 18 month old daughter. Only 5 miles away. Finished the day at American Airlines Center for the game, just a half mile walk. Hotel offered to drive us for free but we decided to walk anyway. They brought us a crib for the wee one and included baby shampoo, lotion and more. Service was speedy and always done with a smile. Anything and everything we needed was available and if they didn't have it they offered to go get it for us. The room was quiet and comfortable. One of the best sleeps I have had in a while. Overall a great experience.

They have work to do . . .Posted Sep 11, 2013
The room and hallway smelled of mildew, and the only thing slower than the elevators is the over-priced WiFi. It remains a "place to be seen" in Dallas. The only problem is that I don't care who sees me, nor do I like paying so much for that privilege in an average hotel. The staff was the only thing worth the $'s.

Just wish they were as good as a Four SeasonsPosted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: The staff were GREAT! The gym is well done and large.
Cons: remodel the rooms and create a more contemporary look.
Location: Great location - near KT Trail and Starbucks.
I stay here for the location. It is always priced like a Ritz or Four Seasons, but it just is not much better than an upscale Marriott. The rooms are tired and the room carpets are worn and dirty. I'm going to stay elsewhere next visit to Big D.

Great location, staff, disappointing roomsPosted Aug 24, 2013
Pros: Location, staff,
Cons: Cannot do anything to the room size, but TV could be digital, and bath tub could be changed.
Personal attention was excellent. Staff were everywhere and willing to assist our every need. However, room was very small, TV was analog (once one is used to digital image, it was not pleasant to watch,) and bath tub was not too inviting.

Great Dallas Hotel.Posted Aug 20, 2013
Pros: GYM-the best, Pool-excellent. Connected to restaurants. Car service gratis all over town.
Cons: rooms are boring-but it's Dallas-
Location: The hotel is connected to restaurants and an amazing store where you can buy anything.
We always stay at The Mansion....this hotel has a better pool, WAY better gym, excellent staff, is connected to NOBU, and 50 steps to Capitol Grill. The food from roomservice is excellent. no, they don't have little cookies or iced tea like The Mansion....but everything else is better.

Perfect weekend getaway.Posted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was very pleased with my stay. Everyone was nice and helpful and the location could not be beat. McKinney Ave. is the best for downtown Dallas partying.
