Nice room but the "balcony" was not actually a balcony. I could not even step out onto it. However the property is beautiful!

Weekend in downtown

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: The staff is top-notch, the room was spacious and comfortable. Nothing was overlooked.
Cons: Noise from the auto-court.
Location: We walked to everything - location is incredible. We visited the park, Myerson Symphony, uptown McKinney (via trolley), coffee shops, restaurants, et
My husband and I planned a weekend getaway in downtown to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we checked in through the time we checked out we were treated with respect and courtesy. Each staff member we encountered was interested in making our stay comfortable. The room was beautiful and filled with luxury. They place slippers at your bedside and a water bottle on the nightstand as a part of turn down service. From the spa, to the meals, to the beautiful lobby and rooms, our stay was a delight. There is quite a bit of noise from the auto-court. If you desire absolute quiet you should request a garden room.

Hotel is beautiful. Great location. Lots of great resturants you can walk to. Great location. Every staff from front desk, consignier, valet, and housekeeping were great. They even allow dogs and brougt bowls, a blanket and a toy. Highly recommend this hotel.

Broken Shower

Posted Aug 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
The shower was broke. They said they didn't have another room to move me to. After a long trip in, moving equipment for a new office the only thing I wanted from that hotel was a hot shower and a comfortable bed.

Best hotel in Dallas

Posted Aug 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Crescent Court is the best hotel in Dallas in my book. Perfectly located, amazing service, best spa and steam room for a city hotel in country and then you have the shopping and fine dining (Nobu in hotel). You can't sake much more from a hotel.... If the NBA teams select it, there's probably a reason.

don't forget the basics

Posted Jul 31, 2014 on Hotels.com
Shower heads (yes, two of them, LBJ-style) could barely issue a trickle of water. Had to stoop over the tub faucet and splash water up on myself, raccoon-at-stream style. WiFi cost money. At $300/night you can afford to give me WiFi. Desk chair was so low relative to the desk that I kept sticking my thumbs in my eyes as I typed. Useless for getting any work done. They do not validate parking ("Oh I'm sorry, that's a different company.") No coffee in the room. Bed was so soft I almost drowned (I know some people still equate this with luxury.) Yes, I get that this is a fancy place but it you can't cover the basics, that even Motel 6 seems to be getting these days, what's the point?
