Lobby a ton nicer than rooms.Posted Jul 29, 2015
Looks like money was spent on common areas, but my room was in stained, smelly and generally left me feeling gross.

Engagement WeekendPosted Jul 28, 2015
My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton Suites for our son's engagement weekend in Dallas. The location was awesome and the hotel was equally great. We were able to check in early and the room was fantastic. Steven at the desk assisted us with several things and answered several questions. It was just a fantastic weekend. Will stay there again on our next trip to Dallas.

Amazing hotel in the heart of the design districtPosted Jul 27, 2015
Within walking distance of everything important, this lavish hotel provides it all. The food from the grill is exquisite, the staff are impeccable and the accommodations are flawless. I hated to leave!!!!!!

Close to zoo and aquariumPosted Jul 20, 2015
The only complaint I have is the pull out couch was about as cozy as a cardboard box.

Great StayPosted Jul 16, 2015
Cons: Maybe the condition of the carpet. It is worn but functional.
The hotel was very comfortable. It made coming back from a hot day at Six Flags a pleasure.

Older hotel. Good location.Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: Location. Close to public transit. Very comfortable bed. Free shuttle. Very nice outdoor pool and area. GREAT view of Dallas from our room.
Cons: Cleanliness of INDOOR pools and area around them. Replace carpeting in rooms. Musty odor all the time.
Location: Convention center across the freeway, with easy access. Free shuttle to all transit and to downtown Dallas. There is a lot to see in Dallas!
Lobby is upgraded, but rooms are not. Bed was very comfortable, but the room was VERY cramped for space. Flooring and carpeting very old, and the carpeting had a musty odor. Vinyl headboard over the bed was ripped and tearing away. Fortunately we did not spend much time in the room, so it wasn't a big issue. Sleeping was nice. It was super quiet, even though the expressway was right outside. The breakfast area and bar were nice, but quite expensive. Indoor pool and hot tub were dirty and the pools walls were green. The outside pool was very nice, very clean and private, with both sunny and shaded areas around the pool. Good location and public transit is close by.

Once nice hotel in desperate need of new managemenPosted Jul 14, 2015
AC ducts had been leaking in restaurant area. Several large fans were used to dry wet floors. These things can happen and need to be taken care of. Unacceptable was the fact that at the self serving coffee station the milk in the insulated server was sour. Unheard of was that one morning there was no coffee available for breakfast service. How can that be and there are no quick solution like sending someone to the nearest supermarket???

Nasty!!Posted Jul 13, 2015
Cons: The hotel needs new carpeting throughout because I believe that is the source of the horrible smell.
Location: The location is close to a lot of restaurants and shopping.
I have no complaints about the staff. They were very nice and accommodating. However, after leaving the lobby area the hotel turns into one hot mess!!! After exiting the elevator, the overwhelming smell of urine and vomit assaulted my nostrils and continued to follow me all the way down the hallway to my room. The carpeting is a mess and smelled horrible with big stains all over it. The room itself was spacious and the bed was comfortable, but I did find that I had a hard time relaxing in the room because even though it appeared clean it just felt unclean.. if that makes any sense. I will not stay here again.

Hotel needs a little touch-up. Not bad but was better last year.
