To be so close to DFW Airport, and other nice hotels, this Studio 6 doesn't do anything to impress you. It's cheap, and it should be! OMG! I thought I was on another planet! Everything was ugly and gross! The only thing halfway surprisingly okay was the tub. Perhaps it had just been redone. Don't expect anything fancy, because it's not there! I wouldn't touch that pool with a ten foot pole! There are too many other closeby hotels to choose from. This hotel should be ashamed to welcome guests!

worst hotel ever
Posted Jan 27, 2011
It took 2 hours to find hotel from DFW airport, GPS took me to wrong side of highway when I finally got near it. When I showed up an elderly crazy women that lives at the hotel was in parking lot yelling and throwing food at my car. All I wanted was a cold pop after my journey and the pop machine was empty, so I decided to make a cup of coffee and the water came out brown at first... Could not sleep because wind was howling through the one window in the room that was screwed shut...I went out in the morning and found another hotel, when I returned the crazy women was dancing in the parking lot and there was food spilled all over the stair case leading to my room.. the view from the room was a abandoned parking lot with weeds and dirt flying in the air. I was waiting for the theme for twilight zone to start playing. the mirror for the closet door was off the track and a dirty ironing board was inside of it, the coffee maker was on a dresser that also held a microwave from the 80's, wires where haging in the air to these high powered items with a power strip hanging in the air as well. I slept a little but left my clothes on. I am so disapointed it's not even funny... the picture of the room was nothing like the rooms there. Hope this helps you decide.

Cheap with a sitting room.

This hotel was only 2-3 exits from the airport off of 114. It was a suite and not just a room! It had a full sized refrigerator, stove, microwave and full sized sink. The downside? There were no dishes, pots nor silverware and only 2 baking pans. So just as fast as my excitement came, it dashed off too. Additionally, they don't tell you that while there IS an airport shuttle, it's an extra 10 dollar fee if you use it! Although I called specifically about the shuttle THREE times, the fee was never mentioned. Then when I checked in, they let me know it'd be an additional ten dollars. I had no option at that point because they had already picked me up and taken me to the hotel! 10 dollars isn't a big deal at all as long as you are actually told about it up front!

Great Price - Wasn't looking for the Hilton

The room was larger and had a kitchen, LR and King size BR. I was going alone to a conference at the nearby Sheraton and this was definitely the cheapest option around. The room was fine, though I did find a piece of paper and a sock behind the dresser and there was a paper towel stuffed into a hole in the ceiling to fill it in. Overall, I didn't mind because my main point was to stay cheap. And I understand that since it's an extended stay, the sock could easily get lost. If those things matter to you, don't stay here. If you want cheap, no nonsense service, this is the place.
