“Clean and modern”

Having a refrigerator in the room was a great convenience.

Situated close to supermarket and a pharmacy. Plenty of restuarants nearby. Couldn't ask for more for the price really. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I was a little worried at first because I got such a great deal, as it turns out I had nothing to worry about. The room was clean and the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly...I will be making a few trips over the next several months between Tampa Florida & Plano Texas...I have every intention on staying at the Sun Suites whenever possible.

“Good bargain hotel”

The walls were paper thin, could hear voices in the other rooms. If you are staying there for one week, there is no housekeeping service. They only re-stock your towels. Overall, everything else was great, there is a fridge, sink, utensils, and plates in each room.

“Great for the price!!”

I have stayed here before and I got a nice room without any problems. Bring your own shampoo and come knowing you only get maid service once per week. Other than that, you can't beat it for the price.

“Friendly and excellent customer service!”

If you are looking for a quick stay in a clean friendly hotel... this is it! No frills, but great price! It was clean and the staff EXCELLENT! The bed and pillows weren't the most comfortable, but they gave us plenty more pillows at our request. Lot's of resturants and convenience close by.

“Stayed for 5 days”

We were on a house and school hunting trip before moving to Dallas and stayed at the Sun Suites in Plano. Given the great price, I wasn't expecting a lot. But we were surprised to find that it was quite comfortable, clean, and had very responsive, friendly, and helpful staff. I always judge a hotel by the bathroom. Theirs was clean, no frills, and overall absolutely fine; nothing scary hidden behind any doors or in any cracks. For the price, I don't think you can do any better.

“Older hotel, a bit run down, but definitely clean.”

Three good things I can say about the hotel: The staff was very helpful, though it did take several attempts for them to get me into the type of room I purchased. The room though very dated was at least clean. The location was close to many restaurants. It's not a place to take the wife or family, but it suffices for a business trip.
