Business with pleasure ends up with more pleasure

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, clean, beautiful and relaxing.
Cons: The road noise was the only negative but don't know how could be improved.
Location: Right downtown near the George W Bush Museum, JFK site, Perot Museum and I'm sure much more also.
We had a business trip in Fort Worth. Saw the Palomar Hotel on Expedia. We liked the photos but it was a distance from our business meetings. We chose to stay there anyway and were so thankful we did. Daniel, the manager was fantastic and his staff followed suit. They were so accommodating, from the concierges desk to the bellmen. The room was beautiful and was kept up every day so nicely. I lost a ring down the bathroom sink drain and within 5 minutes there was someone there to help retrieve it for me. We spend six wonderful nights and wished we didn't have to leave. Thank you Daniel and all at the Palomar. You will love your stay!

Great hotel shame about the delays

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: People, rooms, food, atmosphere, all excellent.
Hotel Palomar is a great hotel. I was unfortunate to book on the day that they were experiencing a transfer/takeover by the Hilton Group. This led to me being forced to wait almost 3 hours for my room to be ready. Fortunately the barman was excellent company during that time. The staff were excellent throughout my stay and I appreciated the difficulties regarding the changeover.

10 customer service:) !!!

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Honestly I have travelled around the world and have seen a lot. The Palomar staff was outstanding. Friendly, warm, polite and always ready to provide quality customer care. I have stayed in over 200 hotels including The Ritz. Hotel Palomar staff was cream of the crop hands down. Would definitely give them 10 ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆'s! Can't wait to go back!!! Thanks for making my weekend so enjoyable!

Location: See above.
Heavy traffic area. Crossing lights at intersections not working. Crossing street in traffic very dangerous. Required car to cross street.

Another great stay

Pros: Staff was great. Valet always had the car there in no time. Never had to wait. They were helpful and efficient. Location is great. Central location.
Cons: Housekeeping should make sure all the taps and spigots are in good working order. My shower tap was not and should have been repaired or replaced.
Location: Shopping is close by. If you are going to Presidential Library, it is just across the express way. The Katy trail jogging track is close by.
The Palomar is high on my list of Dallas hotels. They consistently deliver a upscale luxury experience while at the same time offering the business traveler an efficient and supportive home away from home. The hotel is modern without being stark. A great combinaton of hip vibe, but still being warm and inviting.
